Illegal Immigration, Yeah, I'm going there Options

I know it's bad in the south, Florida/Texas/SoCal... but did you know that Northern VA has the highest population of immigrants from El Salvador and some other smaller countries? It's insane and we have a huge issue. A lot of these people move up here and quickly form or join gangs, I'm sure most of you have heard of MS13 by this point. It's kind of scary when you see 50 guys walking down the street together holding machetes. The police? They don't do much.

Over the past years, this 7-11 near my old townhouse was over run with illegals waiting for a job. This wasn't like most 7-11's... it looked like a flea market out front. Basically I couldn't park there to get coffee in the morning. So the community, instead of bitching enough to get these guys arrested, built a community center a hundred feet behind the 7-11 for all the illegal immigrants to stay while they're waiting for a job. WTF?!?!?!

So my tax dollars went towards making it more comfortable for illegals. Now they don't have to stand out in the rain and the white collar class has successfully hidden the problem. We have our own militia group now that sits outside of the new center and takes pictures of the trucks that are picking up the illegals. I thought that was pretty cool. But now the illegals aren't heading to the center because the employers don't want to get busted... so back to 7-11s. Ugh.

Perhaps a few of yaz feel that I'm a real Libby, but when it comes to laying down safe law and order, call me judge Dredd. If I was running the show as a govt.official sent in to deal with crappola like you mentioned, and with any resources at my disposal, I'd have National Guard armoured cars on street corners of plagued areas and frequent dragnet sweeps of known gang hang-outs... and a permanent residency on a Devil's Island for habitually-crooked smirking gang members.

this is happening all over i guess and theres only one point i want to make,the irish! didnt the irish come over here in hoards and take jobs and basicly were treated like savages until the 50s when kennedy was presidant? its true,joe kennedy (the father) allthough a billionare couldnt attnd a country club because he was irish same as jews etc...the irish got their people into jobs such as police and firecheif and eventually politics and thats how we got a very good foot hold in this country!spanish are doing the same,down here hatians bitch about rights, blah ,blah ,blah ,but they dont have political help at all , theyr not getting it!



look im not against it at all! all i say is learn english and work towards a better life like all the other immigrants HAVE in this country.for those families that are thinking eventually everyone will speak both spanish and english,YOU WILL FALL BEHIND IN THIS COUNTRY-AND WORLD! there is a kid in china teaching himself to speak english so he can live a better life .

I agree with you Undead, the Irish had a tough time when they immigrated to the US. But, they adapted to their new country and worked hard to give back to the system. Hence they were firemen, police officers, etc. They paid taxes and contributed to what our country is now. They were also coming through LEGALLY into the US. The illegal immigrants are coming in and reaping what they can from our government. They are not returning anything back to us. They come here, take jobs which don't give back... which is one reason I (33 yrs old) will never see social security in my retirement. You have 1/3 of the country working that doesn't pay taxes.

I'm all for people moving to the US, I'm not anti-South American or anything. I just want these people to contribute back to the country that is giving them so much.

The way I am, I'd do what I have to do to vapourise predator criminals, then accept losing my job... Any politicians pussy about not doing what it takes to see kids not fear playing in their neighbourhoods because of thugs who think they own the streets [ not to mention 'persuaded' into drug activity], I'd ship off to my version of Devil's island too.

VERY GOOD POINT PEZ! thats exactly what i mean -ADAPTING- my friends kid is in school thats mostly spanish nd the kids get pissed because they have to have lesson in english.i think that we are heading for tough times in the future,it really worries me!

my two cents on this topic is pretty simple: if you are going to live in this country, LEARN TO SPEAK THE FUCKING LANGUAGE. Too many immigrants (illegal ones) never ever try to learn the language; even worse, those who are naturalized still don't speak enough english to really be able to function in society. Its dumb having to have voting materials/DMV materials and work related materials in 2 or more languages, just because someone can't speak english.....Boo Fuckin Hoo....


Make that the requirement to stay; can't speak it fluently or be able to take a relatively simple test (like a drivers test) in English, put em on a boat and send em to North Korea.

And thats my whole grief! i hate seeing every label in english and spanish! i hate having to press 1 for english! sometimes now 2 ! i hate when im out with clients and they speak spanish not english (WHEN IM THE ONLY ONE WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH),not only is that shady but downright rude! seriously ,i dont need the commision that bad and i almost dropped this family off out in miramar because of it one day! in florida they have a test called the FCAT and this is why i wont be sending my son to school here. they make it easier and easier to pass and alot the kids that arent white fail it! floridas schools i think are in dead last -i could be wrong though!

korean,russian ,middle eastern and even an african will bust their ass to learn english if they have a shot at living and working in amarica,spanish dont think they have to ! I WILL SAY THIS AGAIN-IF THE SPANISH DO NOT LEARN GOOD ENGLISH THEY WILL FALL BEHIND IN THIS COUNTRY AND THE WORLD!

in 10 years itll be like watching true hollywood story! one other note to ponder though-whites are buying their lands in south amarica and mexico.costa rica is getting to be so amaricanized .imagine south amarica to the united staes all one country?wich i think is fine but will it be english or spanish thats the question!
