That clip you linked Satan shows how terrible those IEDs can get... hard to get that impression when all you hear on the news is simply, "a convoy was hit by an IED."

i think one of their guys were KIA from this because theres a trbute video attached ,but i left that out . he just reupd and i think he getting ready to return and now is srgent. his unit was in the paper here in the states in the begining heres the article.

No problem Satan, no such things as ignorant questions most of the time-- many times its not asking the questions that's ignorant.

IED = Improvised Exploding Device
which has come to mean those somewhat 'non-conventional' Roadside bombs, boobytraps you see blowing up to varying degrees in your video-> from 'tiny' to enormous. Usually made from ad-hoc [custom designed/put together from whatever materials available] explosives... mines/artillery shells/grenades/explosive charges/timers etc,.

here's a link on a discussion about how the morons in Washington/Rumsfeld dragged their feet for a long time on not adapting fast enough to protect patrolling US ground forces early in the war in face of the growing threat of IEDs.

SORRY SATAN, i originally posted part of a video from a friend who was inthe battle of ramadi.in the begining you see a couple guys trying to retrieve a wounded soldier,i think that was him that was killed.i am friends with a woman and met her son a few times and the night before he was leaving for iraq i got to rap with him for awhile,ANYWAY- his unit fought alongside the marines in most of the toughest battles of this campaign and the news paper article is him.he also served in korea prior to iraq and said korea is much worse!!!!! there were parts of the video i ddidnt include . i personally like the apache and the part where they hit the sniper in the tower.
