That's an off-map exploit if I guess correctly combined with taking advantage of missing terrain that allows you to see through to places you wouldn't normally see.

Yep - I did /devmap mp_kursk, he was around (2423 1458 517), which is well off of the play area and takes advantage of missing textures on the backside of a hill. I matched the angles up from the screenshot. Definitely ban-worthy.

Saw that one before numerous times. A character by the name "Outlaw" was the first person I ever saw use it. Wasn't in regs then so couldn't do anything about it except join russian and try and throw grenades on him. Scrap, can you talk to druid about putting that script in that kills you if you go out of bounds.?

I think AHz published a server-side PK3 that blocks most stock map exploits, dunno if this was one of them.

Nope the AHz exploit script doesn't block anything on this map.
The only BAS map it fixes is Rhine

If you give me exact coordinates (use spectate and /viewpos in the console) in the private MOB forums, I or someone can look at modifying the AHz exploit blocker to eliminate that hole from the map. Just like Druid did for Cassino.

(How-tos should always be posted in private forums so we can block them before they become common knowledge.)

I remember The Outlaw also...in fact I went back through some old screenshots in my folder and found this...pretty funny actually. I see now why Radiation might remember him. ohmy.gif

WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIM ,i was on the 88 on kursk agot hit but heard him behind me so i ran down the hill to the right and shore enough there he was. i happend to be on vent at the time and cross specd him but he disconnected before being kicked.thing is i think you get back there from r2 and run over.this was about two months ago.
