We almost moved to Austin a few years back right before I started with TimeWarner/AOL. Housing if very affordable there.

Housing is too freaking expensive up here... we paid $250K for a Malibu style house that was built in the early 70's, in 2003. Now the same house in our neighborhood is going for over $500K and the townhouses are going for $250. Just crazy. I need to move to a more affordable area but I can't be a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Hey Pez, I hear Ya. Im looking for a house now and im looking in a suberb of Chicago called Schaumberg. I live there now, but in a town house. The houses are going for 400k. Thats to start!! Many are around 500 to 700. Housing here costs an arm and a leg also.
