I was reading earlier on scruffs post about you saying ban USA sucks. So when i went on to cassino, i saw him on. So i got you his guid, it is ae8c7449. Enjoy!

I dont agree with banning some1 for this as it is not swearing, he wasn't warned, his opinion even if it is ignorant. Oh, im not saying ban him if i come off wrong. Silver said ban him and since he was on during the time i was on, i got the guid number. I leave it entirely up to silver to decide what happens. I think ill play the neutral party in this one.

So you are saying that having a name that you object to is grounds for a ban?
I think you should read the constitution of the country you hold so dear...try the 1st Amendment. Amendment I - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Your call to ban someone based on just their name goes against the very foundation of this document. For that matter you have and will continue to say what you want, when you want, in this forum and while we may agree or disagree with you on any given point, you still have the RIGHT to make that comment. I may not agree with the name used but unless something more than just his screen name was said or done....I don't see how you can ban him/her. Not trying to argue but............we only play the Nazi's in the game...lets not become them. --------------------  |

You have to be kidding quoting the 1st amendment to us.
It's doesn't aplly. The 1st 10 amendments are setup to limit the power of the federal government. MOB is not the federal goverement. We run a message telling people racist names or comments will result in a ban. Do you consider that agaisnt the players right to free speech? Next person who plays with "USA Sucks" Kindly ask him to switch his name, if he doesn't let me know. We'll leave it up to him to deside if he continues to play on our servers. -------------------- Not a word was spoken to contradict or disagree with S@bot when he called me a....

It's like a restaraunt. No shirt, No shoes, No service. You have the right to not wear a shirt or shoes but when you go on someone elses property you have to go by their rules. If MOB doesn't like the way someone presents themselves on their server which they own, then they can do whatever they want. They can do this because of the First Amendment.

Druid, I agree with the fact that the Amendments apply to federal government and this is MOB. But I find it hard to see the name "USA Sucks" as racist. Offensive to some...YES. Offensive to me....yep but, and not to pick on Big P but....a name like Rapist could certainly be considered offensive as well. I haven't heard of anyone calling for a ban of Big P nor would I expect to.
I read your post again and I was WRONG to connect the 1st Amendment to this. But someone should decide if a ban for racist names or comments also includes offensive names, but then you will enter the realm of deciding what is offensive and to whom. Maybe all of this is moot as maybe this guy said and did some other things....I don't know. Just acting based on the information about his name. F8 -------------------- |

i agree,this is a us server ! play somewhere else.the rule is racist and OFFENSIVE names,and that would be offensive to me ,especially if i were in the military.
