Who better to ask then gaming experts. Anyways the Cudakid wants X-Box 360 (the one with the harddrive) for his birthday gift. He already had X-Box with a harddrive that I had installed so he can store about 100 games on it, watch movies, save pics and play music.
I have heard that there is alot of problems with the X-Box 360 over heating and various other bugs that they are still working out. I hear the 360 has great graphics, but is that the only difference? I don't think the kid has any plans to play live. Any feedback you can offer me is greatly appreciated:) T/A6Pak -------------------- ![]() Signature designed by Old Man Mike Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. ![]() |

two friends of mine bought it and both had to be sent back.dont know why but it seems like alot of money for something thatll out dated in 2 years. the kids love the consoles though and people buy it for madden alone!

Got my son a 360 ,and have had no problems with it over heating.....though going online with it is a con,as the box can hold 4 profiles, but you have to pay 4 times for an online account and 4 times for points to download any items, although some are free.
Also if you want to play the old x-box games on it ,then you need to be online to get an update (not all old x-box games work on the 360) Graphics are v.good, but then we have a HD TV. This post has been edited by Cross of Iron: 09/17/06 5:59pm -------------------- |

It is a very good system and they have worked out the bugs with overheating and all that, you also get a warranty on it . To play the old X-box games you do not have to go on xbox live, if you go to a website u can download the softwear and copy it to a disk at no charge, and then u simply run the disk on the 360 and ur good to go. Another nice thing about the 360 is they ahve seemed to get the wireless controller perfect this time, not screw ups, bad signals, and you can run it off the same batteries for what seems like forever, also you can buy a battery pack and recharging cord for about 30 bucks.

Thanks Rutuu,
I know for his x-box (the one that he has now, we purchased DJ 2 wireless controllers that he used once and never liked. I got my own control for a christmas gift. Along with the game UFC...that is my favorite X-box game. I found it under the Christmas tree, opened it early and practiced for 2 weeks straight. Cudakid didn't know about that. Christmas morning comes, I open my game...jump up and down and then challenge the kid. Boy, did he ever hate it when I kicked his butt. Dave told him about a month later. He figured there was something suspicious:) T/A6Pak -------------------- ![]() Signature designed by Old Man Mike Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. ![]() |
