Alrighty, the guys were here at 8:30 ripped out the floor, put in the new sub-floor and are arranging the slate flooring.
While 440Cuda is playing in the garage, re-arranging his teeth...(LOL- that was for Mule).. I talked to the guy about do my living room and dining room in hardwood. I better go in the back yard and see how much money is left on the money tree. Cudadad is on afternoon's...which might be a good thing this week. I better win in Vegas this month that's all I have to say. Cudadad might learn what macaronni and cheese and peanut butter sandwiches are soon. If he's really lucky I might go all out and buy him Bologna.
So much for the prime rib and lobster tails. But just think how nice hardwood floors would be... he could survive on Bologna..maybe even grilled cheese (just for a few years...LOL).
I'm lucky he does not check out the forums to much. He's coming have to run...

OK the Kitchen is finally coming together. I bought all new lighting after 5 days of searching for the best deals available and doing a little wheeling and dealing. On Monday the guy is coming to seal the slate flooring and hand cut backsplash....wow it looks amazing:)
Maybe I will wait on the new stove...as mine still works perfect:(
I went out and bought an electric spray gun to re-do my kitchen table set. Dave found it, started laughing at me and said he would do it with his kewl spray gun that goes with his thingamajig.......
So saves me $100.00... wow maybe a new picture.
As the days go on...the three day project has gone into one week.... my poor Dave had peanut butter sandwiches...LOL that should be like a treat to him.
Hopefully tomorrow I will start putting the room back together...that is until our scrim:)

Last night Dave had chicken wings for dinner ...LOL the best of the best.
So I woke up and wanted to put the lights up... So I say to Dave, "Do you think I would look good with curly hair" and he asked why... then I said "When I put up the lights the black wires go with the black...correct? He just shook his head and started laughing at me again. So he put up all the kitchen lights...I assisted by telling him when he had the right circut for cutting off the power to the lights..... I just had to yell "It's off".. I did such a great job, he didn't get one shock. HAHA
I don't think he likes the one hanging over the table as he hit his head on it like 4 times.... yelling profanity, he didn't catch me laughing once. Once the table's is back in the kitchen that shouldn't happen.
It was going so well, we put up the vallance and all the pictures. Thinking... this might be a good time to start on my table and chairs.
One week without a stove, I hope I don't forget how to cook...LOL I've become prficient at making peanut butter sandwiches and microwaved soup.
Tomorrow is the big day that they seal the floors and backsplash....whoot whoot.
