We played the first 2 rounds on kursk, to lead 1 up, going into the 3rd and 4th rounds on Italy.
We managed to hold them on round 3 to a tie of 1 each, then the manged to go another 1 up on the final round. Final score was 3-2 to V2...these guys won the cup last year, but we gave them a tough battle, and lost the match by 1 base, which I belive surprised them. It was a good couple of matches. The Kursk match took them by surprise I believe. The Italy match I didn't play but I did listen. Sounded like a fierce battle.
Well done all. I'm confident the outcome will be very different next time. -Pain |

Nice job you guys! Hard fought match-up with last years cup winner. They won't underestimate us again soz we must be practiced and ready.
Cory, you are doing an excellent job of leading this team, taking care of the particulars and strats. Hats off to all of our {MOB} veterans that provide their insightful knowledge and skillz, as we battle toward a successful finish! |

I had the feeling these guys play together often on stocks and averyone knows everyones jobs. They attacked so strongly with just 4 that you could tell they were all pretty even skill wise.
That advantage put them over the top. We need more practice on the stock maps, 2 shot kills, tank placement and unity. -------------------- |

Not so bad to gain some experience outside of TWL. I'm sure the MOB team will assimilate any new techniques demonstrated and will return with ownership.
Cross, I see that you were able to join their server. Did something change during that last hour before the match? Old Man Mike |

I realize my name is not Cross, but I have a moment to spare and since I was there I will share! To get on their server you have to have the German Frontline installed on your machine. It is a server requirement on their part, so once you download that you can get in. Funny thing, I needed the download too since I had formatted my machine recently, so I go to their server and I cannot access the frontline mod as the server is for low ping players only. They offered up another address to access the dowload from their forums, so I go there and since they are a German clan, in Germany, guess what language the site is hosted in? LOL, that's right, GERMAN! Anyway, I can interpret enough German to get to the download I need, but as soon as I click on "starten dowloadzenschintzle" lol, I get an error message and they require me to join their forums. That is where my understanding of the German language and my download ended. Glad Cross got in as his efforts, along with the others that played on their server, kept our playoff hopes alive! Great job! |
