Smurfing MOB with admin powers, what's the point? Options

There was a time when problems like this got fixed by a great guy. I miss that guy.

Before accusing anyone you should get GUID's and what not. Screen shots and demos are a good start. Note the time so that when you contact Mike he has an easier time looking in the logs to find people.

Just saying...

this is the way it always was before. i dont care whos cousin he is either ,if you go out of bounds you should be kicked.

sgtfazz211 is Havoc's brother. They both have been playing on Barb forever. I really hope that fazz isn't banned!

Sgtfazz shouldnt be banned (this is one single instance over a long period of time), but he should definitely have been kicked.

For the most part, I dont think MOB and MOB Regs should be smurfing on MOB servers anyway - whether they have admin priviliges or not.

Geez guys is there an epidemic of attention deficit disorder going around? This is not about sgtfazz! Of course he should NOT be banned. No one is asking for that. Stuff happens. Once again, for effect...NOT ABOUT sgtfazzz.

Pay attention to the game if you have admin powers. We all want to play and have fun but let's not get so involved in the game that we forget to maintain that high level of fun for everyone.

Again, this will no longer be a problem. I've taken all MOB members down to 99 points but kept all kick, ban, etc. powers. The only difference will be that Regs can kick/vote kick someone even a MOB member is in the game.

There is no rule that says MOB members (or Regs) cannot smurf and there may even be times that it is necessary to catch inappropriate behavior. However, my personal feeling is that they should be worn proudly all the time.

Thanks for clearing it up. When you said originally "this has been fixed" I think many were thinking perhaps you banned sgtfazz, and no one on Barb wants that.

The minefield trick, while a kickable offence I certainly think is not bannable because it is not like other "out of bounds" tricks where you're under the map and and kill people from a place they can't see you. In the minefiels you still are prefectly visible and killable, so I think some people not not consider it a cheat, it is more of a challenge to get in it alive than anything! LOL! So, warn, then kick, don't ban.

As Pain says those, this is about smurfers. Personally, I don't get it. And some people NEVER wear their tags. Are you really still a clan member if you never wear your tags on your own servers?

Man, I agree. Wheter it's Gumdropkid or Master of pancakes......I don't see the point at all. Still very popular behaviour among MOB'sters
