ill be honest , the last few weeks i wore my tags it almost seemed people went out of their way to screw with me or the game. since ,ive warned one guy ....one. i have no problem representing our clan and when i play else where i put the tags on,im just enjoying my self a bit. my 2 cents.i think some people are afraid to kick someone because all the people watching. i can say if i was to kick someone the tags would come on prior to the kick and i would follow the simple steps i posted earlier in this post, screenies, guid last warning-kick ,then post in forums. i just took a shower flat smile.gif .

I'm very proud of my tags, but sometimes I can't resist being "Chicken Fried Steak!!!!"

And lately I also like "Shredasaurus" biggrin.gif

Once again, a good job Mike. You are the straw that stirs the drink!

I LOVE to smurf. It is an addiction I am seeking professional help for. I do it more to mess with our own guys on vent. It is funny to be JoeyJoeJoeShabazzShabadoo or AlKapwn once and a while. I feel like Clark Kent.

I agree. I was there myself. After the incident with Sgtfazz, there was this other idiot that kept hiding our own vehicles and tanks in the minefields, I warned him not to and he called me an idiot. I also warned him several times and went to kick, but could not. There was a player in there named ABoy! and he had 100 points. I asked several times who he was, but he did not answer. He did by the way complain to me for paking G3, lol. I told him we needed help to kick, and he finally assisted.

I really dont like the idea of Admins smurfing. It seems as if it happens allot lately. If someone is warned then kicked by a name other than MOB, how does that look?

I agree. There is no reason for smurfing at all.If you are ashamed of wearing the tags then you should leave the family. It is an honor to me.I too have wasted time in watching smurfers. cussing.gif

I quite enjoy 'smurfing', its fun, and you can use new names as I am kinda tired of my old MOB name, and one bonus is players don't know ya. You can really play 'hard' and worry less about score and more about the objectives. I'm not sure why but I play better under an alias. Probably for a whole bunch of reasons relating to group behavior and conforming. I dunno.

The tags for me isn't defining the belonging or what MOB is about. And I can do with or without em actually. The affiliation isn't the fact that I have {MOB} in front of my name, although I can understand if some feel strongly about it... so be it, you should its something to be proud of.

I guess I am the kinda guy that would go to the Bears game and just wear a sweater, not my the full Bears jersey with painted face. I'm still a fan though.

So to each their own. A little live and let live may be a good perspective to have related to this.

As Pain says those, this is about smurfers. Personally, I don't get it. And some people NEVER wear their tags. Are you really still a clan member if you never wear your tags on your own servers?

Hehe. Oh, a question, do you know what the phrase "all the time" means? Perhaps something has been lost in traslation.

The main problem with smurfing is that if you are getting wow shots and what not, it takes time for people to watch these individuals. Also MOB has built a reputation that people know we do our best to keep a clean game going and seeing MOB in the server makes them feel they are not being cheated. At least thats the way it used to be.I have no clue how u guys are on UO.If u want to use other names fine, but at least if there is a problem let it be know who u are and if u need to kick be sure to show your tags when doing so.Should help this out. Just an idea and an opinion.AND THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT mobrules.gif

I think what he's saying is, whenever someone good comes in that people don't know and are playing real well, some people just assume he's hacking and have to spec them. I don't know why some people have to spec everyone that comes in that's good, but if they want to spend their time doing that, more power to them.

Smurfing?
Is that some kind of new word for call of duty?
Or is it a group of Smurfs dancing in a dico club?

pb_power!!! end of confusion. you want to go under cover once in a while, power to ya! People here that are wearing tags are obviously proud to be part of MOB, or they wouldn't be here. Each to his own....smurf...don't smurf...worry less, play more! Just remember that if a problem does arrise and you are a representative/admin, you carry the responsibility to rectify the problem, whether your wearing your tags or not!

The most important criteria is that you respect all other members of {MOB} as well as the gaming community while you wear the {MOB} tag; whether in our server or another server. We hold respect, good sportsmanship and the gamers right to have fun above all else.
