I did not want to bring this up but I think it needs said

I thought this clan was all about being a good team mate and helping others !! ??

And if this gets me ban or kicked so be it but (STEEL YOUR ATTITUDE SUCKS )

First of all let me say I play MWCM all the time and this server is one of the best out there and made me

want to join MOB in the first place.

But just because you are running this server steel dos not make you the see all, be all, I am all !!

I was playing last nite and said Hi and you said ( Ya I see ya ) and thats it if you don't like me thats fine

but when other players ask a question or make a suggestion that you don't like you don't have to

get all pissy and say I'm out of here !!!! and leave.



This does not show US ( MOB & MOB REGS ) in a good Light to others Or even being a good gamer for

that matter !! If I had treated people like this growing up my dad would have kicked my ASS !!

Changing the IP with out telling everyone for a week or two before doing it ran alot of players off

and changing the spawn protection and voting on maps without talking to anyone first is just wrong !!

I thought all of the MOB CLAN had a say in how the servers run ?? here. let us ALL Vote on what should

be done !! and when. !!

Anyway enuff of my opinion what do all of you think ????



PS I think you do a good job Steel running this server and I'll give credit were credit is do but

change your attitude were all here for each other at lest thats what I thought ????

Well I'm not one for doing too much posting, and being a new member I prefer to look and watch to get a feel for attitudes, but I have to admit alot of what Simbumgowa has said is correct. I was not happy with the way the server switch was handled at all. I felt that at least a 2 week notice should've been posted before the switch was made, allowing people to be aware of what was going to happen. I'm still not sure why we had to up the limit to 64 on that also, when the last posts I had seen were asking for a mere 10 slot expansion.



Also I logged in late last night and now we have map voting? and the new map comes up before the old map finishes, whats that about? I dont recall seeing any discussion about adding that and spawn protection?



I'm all for making changes to improve the server or adding to it in order to change things up a bit to keep it "fresh" but when major changes like this are made that drives folks from the server I have to wonder whats going on.

I started Modern Weapons Custom Maps in 2005. Wrote the weapons mod, which is now up to version 6, and etc. In Oct 2006, I gave the server to {MOB} and stayed on at Mike's request to run it and do the morning restart to clear memory, and run the weekly player stats and post them for mwcm.

First, I was not talking to you when I screen-typed, "Yeah, I see ya" -- there was a guy stuck in the map and he asked me to spec him and see where the map glitch was before he went into spec and freed himself. I apologize if you thought I typed that to you and felt slighted.

Second, to get more slots, I had to move the server to inside the {MOB} box. That meant an IP change. The old server stayed up, with running messages in five languages on how to find the new server. I posted the new IP here in the forums. The front of the webpage reflects the new IP in the game-monitor. The new IP is also shown on the front page of the player stats. I apologize that you were unable to locate it.

I put in a ton of new maps yesterday because they were requested. Yet no matter what maps I put in or take out, I get bitched at and pm'd and emailed, non-stop. I also got the same bitching and hate-mail over no spawn protection. So, I wrote in map-voting and spawn protection into the mod. Sorry it offended you.

I have been pulled into Vent to help people with their game, only to get screamed and yelled at because the person is frustrated that they can't figure something out. I've persevered until I got them going correctly. In my book, that should have meant something.

I put up other new servers. And I rewrote the code for these webpages to fix things and add new features.

Slowly over time, I've come to understand more of the pain that Druid felt being admin here. Theres no respect for the very hard work and time black-hole it takes here to do the behind-the-scenes work.

I hereby quit {MOB}, effective immediately. Mike can run mwcm from now on, reset it daily, run the player stats and post them, and help you not be offended anymore.

Mike, please remove my login here and access to the server box. I won't be answering any emails, pms or anything else, so don't bother. Thanks for everything Mike.

P.S. Crystarion and Simbumgawa.. when you two showed up with the same IP so it was going to mess you up in the player stats and etc., it was me that fixed that for you as well. You're welcome.

hold on people! lets not argue . steel has been on all week at night asking people for feedback and has made changes , i think alot of players of mwcm believe mob is responsible for the changes but really its the people who play there. steel has been busting her butt trying to get this server back to the population it was prior to the PROBLEM with the previous ip . i dont think we should remove regs and i dont think steel should quit (please dont!!!!) i think that these guys should jump on vent.

That still gives you the lion's share and should be all that matters. The 95 percent DO appreciate your efforts.

As far as I understand it the only people that can be truely be calling themselves {MOB}Clan members are {MOB} and {MOB}Regs tag wearing players, the rest are people who frequently play on our servers and visitors to our servers. Steel has been doing nothing short of working the ass off to keep everything running well and smooth and when visitors or frequentors to {MOB}Clan servers start yakkin' about how things are done or run here then it shows that they have no friggin' clue what it takes to keep things moving here.

Everyone needs to take a friggin' huge chill pill when they go online to play, this is not your house, you just play here.........you don't shit in another man's pool and then say that he doesn't clean it well enough.

Steel......ignore nitwits you are doing a great job, whatever you do here you do for a reason and you do it by the book, we all know you like that. Don't leave.........

To all our visitors and frequent players....... I would advise that you look before you leap, whatch what you say, if you don't have proof to back up your words then don't say anything at all. This is not real life were you can see whats going on as it happens all the time.
When you enter a minefield know where to step, just one wrong step and then you can't undo it !!!!

i would add this in respond to your post Goose....

"the only people who can call themselves {MOB} clan members" are - only {MOB} clan members. it's their house. the {Regs} from my understanding are simply players who show a desire for possible {MOB} consideration. we ({Regs}) are here with the {Regs} title by invite as we are regular players on the server but we are not {MOB}. we can contribute, partake in, and enjoy the community but it ends there.

Also, Simbumgowa and Crystarion were/are {Regs} Goose. He was not just someone posting out of the blue. They felt/feel the way they do speaking as such - Regs

i fully agree that people should look before they leap especially when they are contemplating making a post that might very well offend the established hierarchy.

make no mistake... this in-fighting, weekly drama, and other like nonsense will have detrimental effects on this clan as a whole. i for one feel as though things are on tenuous grounds currently and am concerned about the future as my interest in this clan has grown over my time as a recruit and then {Reg}.

if this occurrence this morning truly is the end of {MOB}Steele it would certainly be a large loss in a ongoing parade. Steel’s server is by far and away the most popular {MOB} server. She deserves all the respect and accolades that go with that. This is an unfortunate state of affairs.

I don't know you or really any of the admins peronally, but I do hope you reconsider.
The huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes may go un-noticed by a large number of us,
but I believe it is Greatly appreciated by the majority of us.

I personally really appreciate all of the work that you, Old Man Mike, Bargod, Ktulu, and Druid have done for all of us so we could play this GAME[i]

You and probably people I will never know have created a place for me to come unwind, have fun and meet a lot of great people. Please don't throw it all away over a few inconsiderate people.
