The bible, as well as the Koran, are used to preach hate by people who benifit from it.

Randy Weaver - Ruby Ridge standoff


David McMenemy, who in 2006 tried to blow up an Iowa abortion clinic with a car bomb, is only charged with arson, not terrorism


Throughout the world there are Christian terrorists. We just don't concern ourselves with them. However, one thing they have in common is that they use the bible to justify their actions.


My point is, people who want to justify their hate will do whatever is effective to spread their cause. Religion is one very effective way.

While on the Muslim side there are very vocal people who speak out against Muslim extremist and are willing to call them what they are but only a minority are willing to do so.

BTW you can't judge Terry Nichols is post 9-11 the same as pre 9-11
Also, I realize your only using Randy Weaver as an example but he shouldn't even be on the list.
While I completely disagree with his beliefs, he was a Separatist not a Racist or member of the Aryan Nation as other people made him out to be. The whole case against him came about only after he refused to be an informant.
It's worth pointing out, the 1st person shot at Ruby Ridge was Weavers 14 year old son.
He was shot in the back by federal agents who by their own testimony had not yet identified themselves.
Little strange how they were "Returning Fire" but shot him in the back.
Next was Randy himself, who again was shot in the back while doing nothing more than trying to retrieve the body of his son.
Then the same FBI sniper, shot Weavers unarmed wife, killing her while she was holding their infant son.
Don't forget, all charges against Weaver were dropped except a warrant against him for failing to appear in a separate case.


On a separate note, I tried to check the Hillary "Crying Game" topic, to see if there was any new post.
Only to find it has mysteriously disappeared.
Was it the result of some strange forum problem effecting a single topic?

Yeah its odd - I put a post in there this morning relating to the sidetrack it took about world economy and the Asian market crashing recently - I wonder if their govt. spies had something to do with it

On BGs homegrown terror/religion list should be David Koresh siege[well, it was anti govt. and hostages the way I read it from eyewitness accounts] and the 400year long Inquisition + slaughterhouse religious persecutions going on all over Europe every several decades.

I'd like to state for the record that I think the government was wrong on the Koresh and Weaver cases. The FBI and ATF were Janet Reno's personal army.

BTW, The Dallas Morning News had a big article on the Castle Law for fire-arms. It appears that people have been using it to shoot criminals for pretty bs reasons, like walking out of a convenience store without paying for your beer. More details if/when I read the whole thing.

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the fir st to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........an 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself......against two A-hole, illegal immigrants.......and she wins, she is still alive.
Now that is Gun Control !

That's a nice twist Bar, however what does it matter what type of gun the girl defended herself with? The bad guys originally stabbed the 45 owner. Should we ban knives too now? I'd be curious to see the statistics on stabbings/year. Drugs are illegal and yet there seems to be alot of them around...



The key phrase in your statement was "responsible gun owner" not handgun, shotgun, or rifle.

Total urban myth mad up by pro-gun advocates. I suspected it right away because it had it "all". An innocent preteen girl, dirty nasty "illegal" immigrants, armed and dangerous, having formerly murdered another legal gun owner. Pure "good" versus "evil". But the clicher was the crotch shot! Yep, the evil, gun-totting illegal immigrant gets shot in the balls by a little girl. Classic!

There are lot's of ways to hurt each other. The thing is that you are more likely to survive a stabbing than a gun shot. Also, you are less likely to be the un-intended victem of a stabbing as a "stray" bullet might hit an innocent bystander. It's also difficult to do a drive-by knifing.

The point would be that you don't need an easily concealed hand gun to protect yourself, even in this fictional story. In this made up story a shot gun was all that was needed for even a young girl to defend her castle.

Sounds like the perfect story for people who want gun control to me!

A person with a concealed carry permit uses their handgun to stop would apparently would have been a mass shooting.
