I remember watching some of served 5-6 years ago when they ran it on PBS.
Pretty funny but no where close to my all time favorite British Show, Benny Hill |

They still do re-runs of Being Serverd ,but not the follow up one where they all buy a hotel together which is much funnier.

This show freaked me out when I was a kid. Up until this point PBS was all about kids shows...

In the US, NBC stole the concept for your show and called it "Sanford and Son." I loved that one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WqazleR3FE |

I was wondering when we'd get to Little House on the Prarie. What a wonderful show to grow up with.
Now, I can't believe I forgot Welcome Back Kotter, but I have to say that being a kid in NJ at that time I saw how city life was (at times). I know it's different now, but at the time I would be amazed at how certain places looked compared to how I lived. -------------------- |

They still do re-runs of Being Serverd ,but not the follow up one where they all buy a hotel together which is much funnier. I saw that one once, but one or two of the previous cast were not in it if I remember correctly so it lost its old chemistry from my perspective.... Remember this one? hint "I'm gonna get you Butlahhh!".... the most pervy mini/skirt packed show [besides Benny Hill] a kid could get away with watching;- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUR2eQugqgo...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1si5KrPhfX4...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvTaHtQUoz0...feature=related This show freaked me out when I was a kid. I'm amazed that no one came up with one of the most memorable theme songs, a sound that defined a decade: What about this one... (I guess at least Mustangman will remember it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qlLtvX4xOM -------------------- ![]() ![]() Team Barbarossa |

I love how one reference to a show's theme song, reminds me of a bunch of others.
The Twilight Zone had a classic intro theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzlG28B-R8Y And how could we miss Get Smart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvMj5LuT5hk And my all-time favorite theme from the Wild Wild West. The opening credits shown in this clip doubled as the outline for every episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYCgq8q9Ofw oooh, oooh, oooh, one more!!! How did a bunch of WWII gamers miss this one?!?! Hogan's Heroes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJfSI4cKWLY And finally, this show is most likely where Jim, aka Stryker9, learned his outstanding jeeping skills: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZcbifYqpGc...feature=related This post has been edited by HammaTime: 04/25/08 7:53am |
