The theme song to Hogan's Heroes made me want to learn the drums and the theme song for F-Troop was the first song I ever figured out for myself on the piano. Pretty funny, or is it sad, to realize how much influence these old TV shows had on one's life.

Might as well get these out of the way:

Eight Is Enough

One Day At A Time

Alice

I couldn't find the actual intro's to Rockfor Files or Barney Miller.

Seeing as how this is a gaming website, we may as well make a game out of it

Can't believe this one hasn't been mentioned already.

Never watched the show but it had a good theme song.

I think it's all part of what molds us in life,- including TV.... remember alot of people mocked all the talk shows -Sally Jessee Raphael, Donague etc,. but I think they were incredible in getting people to open up about their lives and ultimately help society break out self-centered-mode and in so-doing contribute to society seeking solutions to problems we at one time kept private/saw no answers to.

Furthermore the day after a tv show we find it a good way to communicate with others rehashing the plot with others-we kinda find people to gravitate towards too when we find out they like the same shows as ourselves just as much.... and that's a good thing.

For instance me and Cross if we ever meet up would curl-up on the floor rolling in fits of laughter+crying tears no matter how many reruns we'd watch of 'Fawlty Towers'! -Funny Walk for the tourists..... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I have to say that if you were to mention the Six Million Dollar Man to me my first response would be "Vs. the Sasquatch", but it had been so long I didn't remember a thing about it. Thanks for that.

And the one show aside from MASH that my dad let me watch with him as a very young child was Emergency. It actually hurt me to hear about the problems Rampart had in the '90's. It went so against the show's premise that it really effected me. Also I had to call 911 recently and aside from the reason for the call I actually thought about the intro to that show... the buzzing noises.
Great memories.
