The new GT is definitely not the best new high-end sports car out there. I rode in a Maserati in Germany that is their lower-end model and it was running a stock Ferrari (Maserati and Ferrari are owned by the same company, hence the similarities) at around 530 hp. The GT is nice but compared to what European manufacturers put out, there is no comparison, plus the fact Ford doesn't have the same racing experience. Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, the list goes on. As for classic muscle, I would have to say a '69 or '70 Boss Mustang (I think they ran well into the 400s) or a Shelby like D said, can't beat that power. Real whats that mc like?

wow....horses dont mean shit its all torque. if your gonna talk, talk right. second power is equaled to by weight and traction divided by gearing. an 84 chevette with 3:73-1 with a 350 is close to the fastest thing on the road. (dont be stupid, it can and has been done many times) long as its lightened. newer cars and old metal dont have the capacity for 80's cars period. the durability of the sheet-metal and full frame and the ability to put in a rat motor. funny....the 80's cars are lighter and more versatile then older cars and new ones. all this yap of rice burners and old muscle is gay. i have a 91 cougar with a huge fucking impact on the pass. side and my wife sponge painted the car so its black and white. my car is a 87 thunder chicken with a cracked windshield and a 22 cal hole in the trunk and now busted pipes. why might you ask? my best car was a 1980 malibu four door. had a 350 4 bolt main, 5% nickel comp block. 290high fireball 2 cam gear drive timing system and a hei dist. headers and a 750 cfm edle. competition carb. a 350 with a shift kit and 373 gears. wagon springs in the rear and gull analog gauges. and get this....i bought a case of paint from big lots for 99 cents (spray cans) and painted the car. i made probably 1500 in street racing with that bitch. the fastest i went was down hertal ave in buffalo at 3:30 am at 120 through 3 red lights against a brand new jag. i won by a fender. (and shit myself) now back to why.... why have a new car? what so great about a new car?? nice shine in the paint? i loved to fish off the hood and my chain scraped the hood. (wallet) new cars are a status symbol, and a compensator for people with low self esteem. like guys with benz and hummers. i think its gay to pay 30,000 for a new car when you can build one for 5,000 - 7,000 and it should be more reliable long as you can turn a wrench. i would love some feed back on this....

LOL just noticed this, Ambience the new wrx's wouldnt stand half a chance against the GT. Just too much power and speed under that hood (well trunk really). Rally cars don't normally outrace Le Mans based racers.

Let me guess. It's an 86 model. Nice car even though it's not my taste.
