Have you ever thought that people make things up? Especially after serious losses, people have been known to suffer from depression, paranoia, and scores of other symptoms from PTSD. The point that tells me that her story is not true is this: if she knows her lines have been tapped, why would she tell you this stuff over the phone? That's pretty dumb.

Why so little coverage of the Downing Street Memo? Here's why: No one cares. Why are you so obsessed with trashing Bush while our soldiers are at war? Why we went no longer matters; we are there. You can argue against it until you're blue in the face, but it doesn't matter, because what was done is done. You don't seem to understand that causing that kind of divisiveness is very unhealthy while we have troops in the line of fire. Argue about it later. The Michael Jackson case gets high ratings, and so that will get more attention.

You act like foreign media is completely impartial to the U.S. Give me a break. THere is no news that is unbiased one way or another, but arguing that our media is controlled by the government is crazy talk. Our media is controlled by viewer/reader ratings, nothing else. Whatever will be the best story will be the most covered. However, at times, the media actually has enough sense not to give much attention to things that will hurt our country. However, note that CNN gave the most coverage to the memo.... lol

i dont know what he said....but just my 2 cents.... i had a pick up at NOAA on aero Dr. in cheektowaga, ny....while i was waiting for the NFG parcel i was talking to one of the nerds (yes they are nerds...they were excited about a new painted compass on the sidewalk ) and i was asking him about how i can view the weather over the internet.... he gave me a link... that they use. it is diffrent then what is put on the main page, and that public has access to. (wasnt much diffrent, actually it wasnt as nice) the reason i had it was i could see all the current info that hasnt been changed by the us goverment. he was telling me that when they get a forcast they have to call in (good enough term) and get permission to publish it to the local news teams. he was asking me if i ever watched the weather and it said it was gonna rain, but it turned out sunny, or that it was gonna be nice out and that we get hit by a huge storm. i replied "yeah" he went on to tell me that (for reasons like pearl harbor and such) the gov censors the weather according to certian situations. and that there are times (few and far between) that they misrepresent the weather.

yea but it boils down in the end to what you WANT to believe. see you think everything i say is made up bullshit... i say everything the president says is made up bullshit. so yes ppl do make stuff up... like our president. if i could find this one daily show clip where cheney says that this meeting with Mohammad Atta (the lead hijacker allegedly) met with an iraqi guy... he said that in feb 2002 or 2003... now he says he never said that... so john stewart just plays the clip of him saying it. kinda funny. cause the people now say that meeting never happened, which is why cheney denies he says it.
