Seriously, I need an answer.

We know Iran harbors/supports terrorists.

We've recently learned that most of the weapons the insurgents are using in Iraq are from Iran.

Iran has been totally defiant regarding it's nuke program and basically gave the action-smiley-055.gif to the rest of the world.

Sooooooo.... Why aren't we doing anything about this? If they are as involved in the supporting of the insurgency in Iraq as I have been reading lately, it would only make sense for us to do something about them. Yet you hardly hear a peep about it from Bush and Co.

What am I missing?

Haven't you heard, REAL, once Iran sees what a shining example of liberty, freedom, and democracy that a flourishing Iraq will become, they too will drop their arms and embrace our western way of living. Syria and Lebanon to follow.

No need for anything drastic now, the hard part is over!

I was being serious in my question. No need to spew the liberal kool-aid.

<thinks to self... Should I have expected anything more though from him?>

So, what you are saying to me is that unless one is actively doing something to directly remedy a situation, one can't criticize? I have to sign up for a stupid war just to have the right to say it's stupid? I have to join the police force in order to decry the atrocities of serial killers? I think you get the point, Silver.

And who said anything about changing the world?

Wrong. I am saying something. You are not. YOU are doing nothing.

well go to war with Iran. right before Bush leaves office. cuz then he can transfer all of his oil stock back into his name and get richer cuz iran is the 2nd largest oil producer in the world. This could be why we havent done anything yet. they dont want oil to sky rocket

With ~60% of the public disapproving of the President's handling of Iraq he just doesn't have the political capital to spend on an invasion of Iran. American's as a whole don't mind making mistakes, we just don't like making the same mistakes twice.

I believe our goal to rid the world of terrorism is equal to putting western civilization all over the middle east.

Ice, Im not sure where you live, But its almost $3 a gallon here. I think it has skyrocketed already! And if your suggesting it could be worse, then im buying a bicycle & scrapping the car. ......ahhh, no car repairs, no car insurance, & no gas to buy.... I could save alot of money that way.
