Well I have been staying out of this new argument because i am just enjoying the reading. However, Silver how could you ever say something like this ".... believe me i hope a tropical storm washes you away....that was some funny shit.... LOL"
Out of everything said in this entire topic, that was by far the worst statement anyone has made. How dare you poke fun of peoples homes getting washed away. Im sure a lot of you have family members in these areas and it pisses me off when someone pokes fun at their destruction. Living in south Florida I have been through many hurricanes and know the devastation they can cause. If they directly hit, which they did in this case, it is definetely not a laughing matter. You are a retard Silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now know your true intellect. |

easy....
My view on reality is distorted in a sense. like this: If you live in Fla. (which some of my loved ones do) you have to expect the natural disasters that occur there. you know that the area you reside in is prone to hurricanes etc but yet most people (like my aunt, god mother, 2 really good friends, and a few others) live in mobile homes and retirement communites and are shocked that their houses are gone and all their shit is gone. do i feel bad? oh of course, but the reality is if you live in an area that is prone to natural disasters (CA, FLA, the whole tornado alley...) you have to realize that its partly your fault. I dont force you to live there same as you dont force me to live in the area that gets prone to blizzards. I accept the fact that i have to dig my self out and I may lose my home to roof collapse. part of my responsibility as a rational adult. I laugh and joke about blizzards and such. shit happens, but for you to say shame on me for talking shit (joking that he is the only one to get sucked into a tropical storm) well wake up and realize that its part of nature. the people in alabama and New Orleans, I truly feel for because they dont, and are not in what I consider a common strike zone. they are on the outskirts of it. now if fla was to be hit with an earthquake I consider that outside the box. if we got hit with a F5 twister its outside the box. shit that is uncommon to an area is a horrible thing. to the people in N.O. that didnt leave and wanted to ride out the storm.... well they got what they had comming to them. (its a shame and no one deserves it, but they were warned with ample time to leave.) I wont sugar coat shit. the Gov. should force evac areas not leave it up to people to leave. sick fuck i may be BUT there is a price for everything. same for our soliders, them people camping outside the presidents crib..... your (our) soilders signed a piece of paper knowing that they may be placed in harms way. Sorry to see you die but how can you nopt expect it? its what you volunteered to do... I respect them and hold their deaths with high respect and honor, but you choose your path. sorry if this is offensive but it the truth. no one asks for thigs of this magnitude but expect them to happen, and if you live were they happen often.... well you get the picture. |

Silver, your initial remarks as well as your attempt to recover from them are truly a disgrace. Sorry man. THAT is the truth.

You're right. Recovering may not be what you are "trying" to do. Only God knows what you have in mind, but it has nothing to do with decency. That much is true. You are also correct in that I don't like your insensitive remarks in light of the hundreds or thousands that have recently died from the hurricane. I think that most of the viewers are in the same boat with me, however.

like i said my remarks have little to do with NO or mississippi seeing as i have a good friend that has yet to be heard of... and reread what i said... they dont live in a common strike zone. FLA is preparedd for shit like this same as buffalo is prepared for blizzards. if we got hit by a hurricane we would be in a world of shit just like them. same as FLA getting hit by a blizzard... (execpt for the northern people that migrated to fla.) no one would have the slightest clue or the equipment to hanbdle this shit. NO wasnt prepared or able to handle a hurricane (as far as i know) but FLA is. my aunt lost everthing last year, and cant rebuild cuz the ground is so fucked up... it her fault, she moved to an area that is prone to get hit and bought a double wide. I feel bad but you have to expect this to happen to you. the people of NO had no idea what was comming, or really what was gonna happen.... I wouldnt... but you FLA people do.
and is it decent to pretend that they should have stayed? that your home and business is worth your life, or your childs life? how many children died in the wake of all this because their parents wouldnt leave? whos fault is that? This post has been edited by Silver: 09/01/05 1:18pm |

That piece of tripe is a poorly thought out rationalization Silver. I sensed there was a shallowness of character from your blog and that's why I've been harping about it. I'm glad you've shown your true colors for all to see.
First of all, that area of the gulf coast has it's share of hurricanes, so... stop the news coverage and relief efforts because Silver thinks they deserve it. I'm sure the thousands of dead and dying and their families will be comforted. Through your diatribe you've shown me that you embody all that is sick and wrong with America. You have stated that our young men and women deserve to die if they join the military and the rest of us deserve to die from natural disasters common to our areas. To me the USA has always been one of a people that care not just about ourselves but about others throughout the world. Relief workers, troops, cops and firemen are headed to Louisiana and Alabama from all over the nation to assist our citizens in need. Fortunately for them, denizens like you are a minority, or those people would have been told to rot or drown. I am going to do my best to ignore you from now on because I don't want to give you a soapbox to spout your worthless drivel from. PS. =SK=_Joe is headed there because he's a firefighter with an emergency response team. God speed David. -------------------- ![]() |

intresting... i never said anything about people deserving it... the part about a soldier was from a friend of mine in mississippi headed to iraq. thoose were his words and i deemed the approiate. they need efforts, as a matter of fact they need more then they are getting... sorry to tell ya but I was a volunteer for a few years during the time of 9-11...
but no matter what I say you seem to miss the point of what I am trying to convey. to me you are whats wrong with america. not taking responsibility for your own actions... thats the fucking problem. you want me to feel sorry for you because you put your self and others in a prediciment and want to be bailed out... sorry i dont see it that way. how many people die from their own actions? even inadvertently? people die because them are not using their noodle, the people in NO (which is not what i was talking about in the first place) choose their own path and stayed... they never should have had the choice to stay but they did...now the death toll is climbing... sad but how can you prevent people from making bad choices? did they really comprehend the intensity of this? yes they are in a path thet is in a hurricane area but not a common one. ow many times do they get hit compared to fla? W/E no matter what i say it will be twisted missinterpreted... honestly i dont give a fuck. Im a mean human blah blah blah... senerio: you come to an accident, get out of your rig and see a man and his family killed. the driver survives (the man) but he was DWI? whos fault? him? his wifes for getting in the car? his kids? in my eyes its his and his wifes. his for being drunk and his wifes for letting her self be put in that perdiciment. kids are victims. now hes crying anf we should feel bad? I feel bad for the kids... not him, not his wife. a man rolls his mustang convertable over and his head is cought under the car and shaved off for hundreds of yards... because of excessive speed and drinking... whos fault? the asphalt companys for not making the road smoother? his... he put him self in that situation. both of these i have been to and washed down, and pulled from the wreckage. I have seen my share of fucked up shit including pulling babies from under dashboards because their parents dont use the proper safty devices. whos really fucked up the people that dont use what god gave them orr the people that survive it. it only affects the poor sap that has to clean that shit up. inamges of old man with the roof support stuck in his neck bleeding out while i try and get him. heres one for you.... we had a project fire and its in the up stairs bed room.. its in the middle of winter. im in the rear on the first engine pulling up, we (cheif, captian, 3 other volly's) go in see smoke banking own the stairs and the mom, dad and kids are sitting on the couch watching tv... you dont see a problem with this? what if we couldnt have gotten there in time? they might have died at whos fault? mine? the guys whos was smoking in bed? the kids? you know to leave if you house is on fire... you know to leave if the hurricane is comming, you know not to drink and drive, you know to have your kids in a safty seat.... whos fault? mine? no.... am i warped.... oh yeah... p.s. the usa started out as convicts and such... blow me for being insensitive... silver all those are MAN MADE causes NOT NATURAL DISASTER'S
in Nova Scotia we get everything from Hurricanes to Blizzards, we are always ready for it, for example last year alone we had hurricane Juan, it destroyed alot of things and killed alot of people, then in the fall we had white juan(blizzard), we got 3 feet of snow in less than 24 hours people died during that as well. is it our fualt for living here? no i dont think so. its mother nature we have to deal with it....is it all the peoples fault in china that they live in a earthquake zone? what about the people in the piliphines (sp?) that died in the tsunami, its there fault right.... how about this! every one move to Buffalo and live in peace and harmony woth silver This post has been edited by nova: 09/01/05 2:21pm |

and? its by choice you live there or prepare your self for the things that come your way...
hoif you get hurricanes as often as 4 a year then yeah its your problem. the people in indonesia had no clue what was gonna happen, no warning nothing. if they had the tusanmi warning system they (might have been more survivors) would have survived (possibly). who really survived were the ones that reconized the signs and knew what to do. lucky them... the tourists had no clue and anyways how can you prepare to have entire countires washed away ... you cant its uncommon. is it uncommon to have a hurricane in fla? how about an earthquake in CA? we get blizzards in buffalo, hell we had 4 feet (or 3 feet) fall in hours stranding people in their cars and kids in busses for half a day and such... it happens... get the shovel and start shoveling.... i deal with it.. part of living in this area... if i dont like it i move... if i cant handle it i move. pick up and go. no one forces me to stay, im not planted to the ground... now if we have an earthquake or a hurricane i can see sorrow and sadness we daont have a clue as to what to do... hell we really dont get toranados either... just snow.... but i have hurricane lamps and a months worth of oil, and am prepared to stick out w/e i can. i know what to do if we get snow, i use my noodle. ever see that day after tommorrow? the people that leave the library and freeze to death on the streets? should the people that stayed feel sorry for their deaths? no... its just an example im using but if you live in FLA and live in a house on wheels... how can you expect it not to blow away? how can you not expect to lose everything? no peace an harmony, just accept the problems associated with the enviroment and deal with it...
