Ok, thanks for the advice. If you read my posts, you'll see that I do it like you have suggested as well. Sometimes, I'm in a hurry, like tonight. I need to pay some bills before I go to bed. Often here, I've been asked to include the quote with the post. I don't think it really matters. I'm more concerned with the content or my writing style, but you make a good point. Keep reading my comments; your responses are always welcome.

You're reading like a writer. Sometimes, I regret having a degree in English because I find myself getting distracted by grammar instead of reading for content. Good job, however.

I refer you to The Harper Handbook of College Composition, page 526. Briefly, there are three degrees of comparison for adjectives: positive, comparative, and superlative, as in good, better, best. For one syllable words and some two syllable words the comparative and superlative degrees are formed by adding the endings -er, and -est, respectively. For words with more than two syllables, the words more and most are used before the adjective to show degree.

For two syllable adjectives, the decision of how to show degree depends on awkwardness. If the word sounds strange, then use more or most. Certainly you wouldn't say beautifuler or beautifulest. Of course, beautiful is a three syllable word. I use it here to illustrate how a word can sound awkward. The word stupid is in the grey area. I think either way is correct, but personally I like the way most stupid places more emphasis.

Well, it's getting late and I really don't have time for a nobody like you. Since this is a bash ML thread, then I'm glad you got that off your chest. I don't think you speak for 98.78% of anything. It's no insult to me about SK. I like those guys. They seem to have a lot going for them. That's more than I can say for you.
