Sometimes people's posts go a bit far but sometimes the person we are talking about deserves it.

Think about that for a second please, Slim. Can you honestly align yourself with those that constantly refer to horrible deaths and violence against someone they don't like? Do you also agree that bashing someone is acceptable? When do you draw the limits, if any, on bashing?

Guys, you've got to try and understand that bashing/harrassing of any sort based upon speech, religion, sex, and race are against the rules of a civilized society. Even Freedom of Speech stops at "terroristic threats" - and we have seen some very close remarks to that effect.

I understand that. But among several members, including yourself, there is a recurring theme in posts of death wishes upon someone they don't like. I find it disturbing.

This type of thread should not be allowed, and certainly never encouraged. If there was ever a reason to use the phrase "mob mentality" it seems appropriate here, because as you each pile on and trade your "lol's", I am reminded of scenes I personally have witnessed in life where crowds attacked a single person because of his words or color, or clothing or sexual orientation -- and where one punch may have been enough to fell the victim -- people would push the others aside to get their chance to kick and spit upon them.

The two are not equal in any form whatsoever. There simply is no comparison between the the rants of a former, disgruntled clan regular and this thread you started with the subject line of gender bashing.
