Nvidia FX5200 Ultra 128, it runs UO till the smoke starts flying. Wow, that is the same card I used to have and never had problems with the smoke in uo. Now COD2 was whole different story, It became a lag fest. So I got the Nvidia FX5500oc 256mb & still find I have lag when theres smoke in COD2. Its not as choppy but it still lags Not any huge issues with smoke, only when everyone decides to put it out there at once. Actually, it's possible that it's not even me, could just be the server lagging or other people lagging which causes everyone to a bit. Not sure. I've never had any probs with my card really, I can play UO and CoD2 decently. Only game I can't run is BF2 and I don't game enough anymore to justify a new card. -------------------- ![]() |

If you are goint to keep it, you just need to install the new card and disable the integrated one in the bios. Your new one is probably AGP...just pop it in....its the brown slot above the many white pci slots on your motherboard. The next time you reboot, get into your bios and look for the integrated video settings. It should give you an option to disable them. Good Luck. my computer nerd came over and said how incredibly impossible it was to put it anywhere. i'll probably have him over again tomorrow or something, hopefully it'll work... Yeah there could be other reasons for not being able to add it in. You may not have an AGP port or your case may be a small form factor. -------------------- ![]() "Difficulties come and they pass, but it is a shame that sometimes these difficulties must pass like diarrhea" |
