Friday 3/10 around 2:49 PM while playing stock map my screen froze up. When I tried to rejoin the msg was ... Unable to join server for 18 minutes. I could join the other mob servers though. There was no error msg on my event viewer so It was definatly coming from your end. This happened as I was in an enemy heavy in great position...wow what timing. I just would like to know if this is something your members can do...or some fluke server problem if so... then guess that's the price I'll have to put up with.
Once again...thanks for your help and I really enjoy playing on your server. |

My best guess is that you had a PB violation due to high ping. On rare occasions when the network is choked, your PB client doesn't respond in a "timely" manner to requests from the PB server so PB boots you and slaps a 20 minute default ban on you.
Bargod knows all and he can probably clarify this for you. I've had it happen to me and it always seem to come at a time when one team is completely owning another. All the smoke from the spawn, heavy artillery and incessant pounding from tanks causes a lot of data to have to flow through the network. It is a prime time to encounter a problem like the one you've described. -Hamma |

Kursk had some wierd things lately... The german heavy spawn was making a stealing tank sound...but there was no tank at all.

It was a ghost of a ruskie soldier Hamma had killed trying to get his own back........................LOL Actually, I think Trouble is right about this. Someone was stealing the heavy. I tossed an 88mm round from my heavy into it and the ghost was born. I've seen this happen before with Panzers on Kursk and in Ponyri. I used to think it was a client problem until I discovered that everyone could hear it. It is really creepy, and it throws everyone off when the tank respawns and the sounds of someone stealing it keep going. Everyone ends up spending half their time killing an empty tank. Frustrating. -Double |
