It is becoming clear to me now that I didn’t retire from MOB. I retired from that train wreck over at theOtherside.com

In a nutshell, some moved on... some stayed... and well in your case some were left behind.

Basically Canuck,

There came a point where the MOB admins didnt have complete control. Much like they didn't have control of my Shottyville. And frankly, when you are on the other end of the MOB admins gun you are pretty much toast.



Oh wait. Unless you are Druid.

Probably the most respected member to ever put the fucking tags on. But the admins wouldn't have a clue about that. Or should I say "an admin"



Because, to be honest, most of the MOB admins are people I respect quite a lot. errrr except a certain malicious one. (and to be honest, the fact that this admin hates me is a bit of a turn on)



When Mike wanted to close Shottyville, and Steel killed Barb, I resigned from MOB. But I did alert a certain Senior MOB about the admin problem. It fell on deaf ears.



So I said "ok MOB, you made your bed now you can sleep in it". Seems pretty tame now doesn't it?

But I don't hold any grudges because the reality is. My friends were always my friends. Many MOB and Regs didn't bail on me that could have. Instead they are still my buds.



So in summary: I know that people have good intentions. And Most MOB are good people. But I cannot recognize that group at that site as MOB. Because in my eyes, MOB is still here.

Don't you ever fucking tell Hamma Time he isn't MOB when you didn't donate to MOB for like four years. Check KT's 4 years of charts and tell me I'm lying punk.

At one point 8 members of MOB thought my server rules post was funny.
Now that Hamma has quit that number has dropped back down to 7.


I guess than means if you can figure out who the other 7 are.
Then you can insult them until they quit too.


Just think, get 7 more people to quit and then no MOB will think my post is funny.
That's all it will take for you to justify to yourselves how wrong I am.

Yes because the only determinant of MOB membership has and always will be how much one donates. Shut the fuck up asshat.

Shred although none of your concern, i'm in university, a student with not very much money for myself trying to get an education to get a job. I do not have enoug money to be putting towards game severs and alot of the MOB members know that. I'm sorry for not donating to please you.

I don't have a problem with you personally or over the fact we are obviously on different sides of this subject.
With that said, I think it's only fair to point out the original MOB requirements posted by Realdeal almost 3 years ago say NOTHING about money.
Money wasn't made a specific requirement until Mike updated the requirements to include
"Ability to make periodic financial contributions"

In fact if you look the new site, the MOB requirements have also been changed again with probably no discussion, same as the server rules.
Now there are only 3 requirements
1) Ladder TEAM gaming skill or leadership
2) Getting along with other team players
3) Maturity & ability to make periodic financial contributions

Don't you think it's strange to make money such a subject ( 1 of 3 requirements ) when several people in MOB have NEVER donated.
We're talking about people who have been around for years but have never bothered to donate $5.
I don't have a problem with it, as I understand everyone has a different financial situation.
Which is probably why Realdeal didn't make it a strick requirement for MOB membership.
I think it was the right thing to do as otherwise you would end up with the feeling people were buying their way in.
I also understand some of the most outspoken people in MOB about how MOB should be ran are the same who have never bothered to doante $5, even though they are more than financially able.
One person went as far to previously say that if he had to donate, he would probably quit as it wasn't worth it to him. This from someone who plays on a brand new $2000 computer but can't be bothered to chip in $5 every now and then.


Kind of strange that MOB has the final say but the Regs on several occasions have donated more money to keep the servers open.



I say this with full knowledge a few people are going to run back to disect everything I say, to find ways to point out how wrong I am.
Just remember, this is all black an white.
Stated MOB membership requirements as posted on this forum and the new undiscussed yet changed version on the new site.
So please remember while people are off in the corners, privately saying how wrong I am.
No One is going to have the balls to say anything Publicly.
Why? Because the people know they would quickly talk themselves into a corner and only make themselves look like a fool.

I was in College with not much money coming too- kinda like nearly everyone here. I'm making a living and still not enough money to put to game servers as I'd like. I hope you get your education and loads of $$$ by the end of it all. Regardless, try and enjoy life anyway.
But you need to realize alot of people have issues of various degrees to deal with outside of the servers -like yourself; real life things. The last thing someone coming into a game server/game-forum to escape a couple of hours from those 'issues' wants to deal with are pointless antics and rehashing dramas, crossing over to post in a forum [cursing out someone because they leave a clan?]

I only say this because perhaps you don't realise yet just how fast time flies as you get older and you'd be better spending your time progressively rather than the very pointless antics some others around you should know better to not encourage you to act out. We all have things other to deal with-extra headaches shouldn't be amongst them.

seriously slim , no offense but i remember a guy who would help anyone with tips and tactics,coming from a guy you helped ,why the hate? i was like,im sure someone posted something stupid on the new MOB forums ,went there and nothing posted so here we are again with a bunch of BS . we all were friends i thought.whats with the public ousting of hamma? they were the FIRST #1 {MOB} cod team right? in my world that gives {MOB} street cred,hell was a part of that team too .the fact a few of us stuck around here a bit was mostly conversations,latley im seeing alot of derogatory posts towards MOB members.is this how it should be?

i havent seen any of this in ages.i was on the soap box "elite band wagon" (not being one of them) but guess what,the reason moh and cod was such a {MOB}success was because of teamwork and friendship.this clan has survived because every one had a say,not just going along for the ride. like ive said numerous times before,have nothing against anyone over there (except flatliner!!!) just want to play and hoping i will be welcome on e all servers .
