Saucy. That right there is just another sign of what makes this whole situation so sad an unfortunate. I don't know if I should take what you say as good or bad. Until a few months ago I would have automatically assumed you didn't mean anything bad an were only getting a little chuckle out of this as I assume most people are. Now I'm sad to say, I've no clue how to take most people anymore. They say one thing then turn around and say almost the opposite. Before you reply back to clarify, you may want to check with the rest of MOB. Of course by MOB I actually mean "The Admins" I was under the impression people were told they could no longer post here. Maybe you missed the memo. If you did get the memo but decided to ignore it, then kudos to you for showing free will. Druid, you should take what I said as a good thing. The internet to me is one small part of my life where I go when I have free time to amuse myself... that's pretty much the extent of it. You've always contributed to my enjoyment, either by running {MOB} and providing a nice place to play... or by your retorts. Oh, and just because I choose to play COD4 a couple times a week with some friends and continue to wear the {MOB} tags doesn't mean my opinions in any way are being censored. It's a tad bit insulting that you would imply these things. I have chosen the path in which I can maximize my enjoyment, and in no way should it be assumed that I am "drinking kool-aid" or being submissive to horrible things. and Druid, I understand that you only addressed me and what I said as a vessel to continue your war of words with "the other mob", but I felt compelled to respond. -------------------- {MOB}... You must of missed the post where I said 95% of the regs and hopefully 50% did what they did because they only cared about continuing to play with their friends or stay on the ladder because they are doing so well. If you don't think people are being "submissive" about some things, that's nothing more than splitting hairs over the verbiage. I can easily point to several issues where members of MOB has been apathetic about how several issues have been handled. If you want me to go into details I'm more than willing to do so, I just don't think it's really necessary as most people will already now what I'm talking about. Funny you would mention drinking "kool-iad" because you will not be able to find a single post were I said that. If you think it's so insulting when someone says you're drinking kool-aid, you should propably check to see exactly who said that because it wasn't me. BTW about this Oh, and just because I choose to play COD4 a couple times a week with some friends and continue to wear the {MOB} tags doesn't mean my opinions in any way are being censored. It's a tad bit insulting that you would imply these things. Imply these things???? How about: 1) I know of a few regs who have been told on vent to stay away from this site. 2) I know a member of MOB posted here and was jumped because of it. 3) I know it was suggested to at least a few people in MOB that they quite coming here or posting. Can you honestly tell me none of that has happened? Would you not call that censorship? if not what would you call it? Nothing against you because I know you're not the one doing it. I think it's a tad bit insulting you would imply your insulted over me mentioning it. I guess the real question is.... If I'm wrong about those things happening, then you would be rightfully insulted by me saying that. But if I'm right about those things happening, then you should actually be insulted by the person doing it and NOT by me for only mentioning it. |

..... why did you bring up my name? LOL, relax... It's not your name I brought up- it's the character from the tv show which I loved to watch in its reruns - I hardly know you for one thing. To clarify; I was making a similarity to the way in which Pyle was always yelled at. I have altered it, but IF it does bother you that much I'll remove it since by your alluding to there being some kind of possible connection, actually now has probably put it in some's minds that there may be one. The style is always a clue. I see that they like to leave a space after the commas. lol - hmmmm- well that narrowed the list of suspects down.... -it's normal to leave spaces after the comma! But yes- I think there are clues to see in style. This post has been edited by Hellfighter: 04/14/08 11:27pm -------------------- |

Something else I find funny is the replies. Morphine - Nothing personal against him or even what he said. I just find it funny that avatars like his was the excuse 2 of the admins used to bully a few people they didn't like right out of the Regs. Scantly clad women was one of the reasons Steel listed for quitting the 3rd time she said she quit without really quitting. CiCi - Sorry to tell you but according to the MOB admins you don't matter anymore since you don't play COD4. For everyone else talking about how MOB is all about friends. You do realize your admins just deleted "FUN and FRIENDS are ALWAYS more important than winning!!" From MOB's Code of Conduct because according to them that's NOT what MOB is about anymore. What amazes me is the amount of sheople that actually went over to the new clan. Some of you are people that I have known, respected and trusted for several years (in most cases). You obviously drank the Kool-Aid because you guys were never ones to follow the herd. Surprising. {MOB} will live on... here. Read the sig... ...Often...Never... I find lemmings funny |

Well, if it was Kool-Aid they were drinking, it certainly wasn't Jim Jones's mix. Instead of killing, it seems to just make people really bitter. Check this attachment. It's from the Goodfellas TWL membership page, which leaves me absolutely dumbfounded. Was this just coincidence, or is Team Goodfellas using their description as a way of kicking a former member in the ass one more time? What the fuck is wrong with these people?? Interesting... in that attachment I see the slogan "often imitated never duplicated".... A slogan I've seen in use at other servers from way back!? -------------------- |

And I did not say that I don't think people are being submissive about things. I said I was not being submissive, purely out for enjoyment. I am not in any way saying you are wrong, or that you can't back anything up... I've been around long enough to see that these things rarely happen. -------------------- {MOB}... Was this just coincidence, or is Team Goodfellas using their description as a way of kicking a former member in the ass one more time? FYI I think P used this description on his member roster over here, and that he put it on the TWL page from the start when Team Goodfellas was created. Hamma, I really hope you don't take it personally! P and several others posted in your resign topic that we wanted you to reconsider the resignation. TBN -------------------- Team Barbarossa |

Hamma, I really hope you don't take it personally! P and several others posted in your resign topic that we wanted you to reconsider the resignation. TBN It would have been nice if I had been able to see the posts, but the door was locked when I went back just a few hours later. I don't hold that against them. As a clan, we all were puzzled when one member resigned, but still had access, and then resigned, and still had access, and then resigned ... well, you get my point. Thanks for clarifying that the slogans were there before all of this, Dean. That makes a huge difference. I couldn't believe that I would get jumped the way I did for simply continuing to communicate here with good friends. That was completely inexcusable. The shock still hasn't worn off, and now that I've experienced that, I begin to wonder about everyone's motivations. |

Just for your knowledge your access to all the mob forums was not changed until after 2 weeks i don't really know what are you talking about few hours after because is [size=2]not true. I am sure you can ask Bargod as a admin to check that and i will ask if is a way to prove that too.Dont really know what interest you have to create more shiet and drama when in fact is not. -------------------- {MOB}... just to clarify something. I have no idea if Hamma is right about his forum access being changed after only a few hours. What I do know for sure is, it was previously mentioned how quickly his access was removed at DruidIsABigWeenieSoWeAreMovingMob.com When it was 1st mentioned 2 days after it happen, I checked the member list at DruidIsABigWeenieSoWeAreMovingMob.com and he already showed as only a forum member. So maybe it was more than his claimed 2 hours. All I know is it was absolutely done within 48hrs, not the 2 weeks you suggested. I'm going to take a wild guess here an say you suggested 2 weeks because there has been a discussion and someone else claimed it was 2 weeks. If so, I would be very curious to know who originated the idea it was done 2 weeks later. Regardless, even 48hrs would still make it one of the quickest removal of MOB only access from someone who simply resigned in the 5+ year history of MOB. |

I couldn't really help. I'm "super-moderator" for the forums. Somebody put the word admin under my name when I brought up that I was not an admin because I removed Steels access after she quit. So, it's says I'm an admin, but I'm not. I moved Steel to regs status two days after she quit, so it would make sense for Hamma to be removed two days later, as well. -------------------- |
