What he did to Hollweg last year was 10 times worse, but it's the same principle. Guy should be gone from the NHL. Hope the Islanders don't allow him back... sort of like what happened to McSorley... hopefully he will just slowly fade into oblivion.

I read yesterday that he's actually taken "leave" of the Islanders and the NHL to seek counseling. I remember when Simon was really becoming a good player... putting up the PIMs and still getting the Gs and As with a good +/- as well. Then he went full out goonsville. His last two seasons with the Caps, he was doing really well and played on the first line for a bit with Bondra and Oates for a bit.
