Absolutely.
Randy did NOTHING to win that fight. What he did was worse than the wrestler who lay an pray their way to a decision. Randy couldn't even get Vera down, sure he was able to hold him against the cage but the points should have gone to Vera for avoiding the takedowns ( octagon control ). Vera should have also won on the scorecards for aggression. The main card sucked ass, I enjoyed all the other fights even though my guys lost. I would have preferred to see Kang and Swick win. I was very impressed by Andre Winner, his striking looked very good someone so new to the sport. Now that Strikeforce and Dream have announced they will do cross-promotion. The UFC has to be kicking themselves for doing crappy back to back UFC events ( 105 and 106 ) Good prelim fights in both but the main events are not worthy of top billing. As far as I'm concerned the main event for WEC tonight ( Brown vs Aldo ) is a bigger and better fight then Couture/Vera or Ortiz/Forrest. |
