I have regretted what I said, I also apologized to Hammer on the other forums, I was just pissed off about stuff that has been said over the last fews months and I blew up.

Just for the record I would like to state.
If you ever want to ensure there is no argument about something, this works wonders

"I say this with full knowledge a few people are going to run back to dissect everything I say, to find ways to point out how wrong I am.
Just remember, this is all black an white.
Stated MOB membership requirements as posted on this forum and the new undiscussed yet changed version on the new site.
So please remember while people are off in the corners, privately saying how wrong I am.
No One is going to have the balls to say anything Publicly.
Why? Because the people know they would quickly talk themselves into a corner and only make themselves look like a fool."

What's the saying...
Thunderous silence

Or how about....
You could hear a pin drop.

Yes I know, I'm a big meanie.

WOW! Im glad to see you are still here guys! This is my home. You were the very best to me.Everyone always knew what was going on.Or at least I thought so anyway.I do not like where MOB has gone.Anyone can be a member now.It used to be hand picked and invite only. There are new people every day and we are even getting hackers cause we dont get to know them. Its all about get them right now, hurry up.doesnt matter what they are like.Ive brought this up to deaf ears and it bothers me.I play for the fun and the companionship that is developed through it.I am pretty much out of all the stuff cause it just gives me a damn headache.Im only staying in MOB these days for my son to have a chance to compete, and so that I do have some perks, such as passwords.I am friends with many and wouldnt play really else where so why not keep the tags.It used to be a real honor to be part of MOB but those days are gone for me.I just enjoy alot of the people on vent. Some of us have been talking for years and I hope to travel and visit quite a few of them.I do miss gaming with you Real. You were always a class act towards me and made sure that I was taken care of ,which I will never forget. And you Druid I didnt get to play with that much cause you were always busy but you too were always there when I needed something.I truely do miss the mohaa days and you guys.I dont even know what made me come here.I guess just curious to see if still up.Well take care guys!

QUOTE(Keystone Two-Eight @ 03/25/08 1:50pm) *

I dont get it, whats so wrong with revising the rules?

I don't believe the fact that they were changed was the point. The point was there was not a discussion brought up about it.
To 6paks credit , she did post in a thread over at TheOtherMOB about names. (it was after the rules had been changed) and a discussion about names insued. I posted my thoughts near the end of the thread.

Some admins and MOB agreed with my points, (guess which admin agreed and what direction I thought we should go) Was there ever a conclusion? or were the rules already set?

When vague rules were left open to interertation, this is what happened here.
http://www.mobclan.com/forums/upload/index...c=14648&hl=
Notice how the rgs lost their kick points

QUOTE(Keystone Two-Eight @ 03/25/08 1:50pm) *

I think it was more because of the jag-offs that were typing "nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger" (and so on and so forth) on COD4 servers more than anything else.

It has been my understanding that this has long been uncaptable and resulted in a kick or ban.
I believe it has been covered many times in this forum, and I don't recall where anyone believed this was acceptable.

QUOTE(Keystone Two-Eight @ 03/25/08 1:50pm) *

Thats one of the things that actually appealed to me about MOB in the first place; was the fact that the folks here seemed to be mature, and above stupid name calling involving genetalia and sexual.

If you played Barb and started there you may want to catch up on the history of goose, the huge number of kicks, and the decline of that server.. MOB was a lot more tolerant from what I read in the history and from playing COD2.
There was more than 1 kick happy admin (or person with points) who had their open interpertation of just what was a kick/banble offense, it was in my opinion that it was changed into that everywhere, without so much as a discussion.

Lastly Keystone,
This is just my perspective of what I read between the lines in the original post. No offense to you, you have always been a stand up person to me, I just wanted to explain that I viewed things from a little different perspective.

Take Care, Blitz

Bullet hit on something I previously couldn't put into words.
I'm sure the little admin group sees the majority of people moving to the new site as justification for what they have said an done.
Nothing could be further form the truth. For most people it's simply to keep playing with the people they know.
It's not done for the bogus reasons the admins offered, what little reasons they even bothered to offer.
As I've already had several people tell me:
* They don't agree with what happened......
* Sure maybe the admins lied about this or that, but it's not worth the trouble....
* MOB had lost it's sense of everyone is equal and has the same say.
People just want to keep gaming with the people they know.
Or others went because they wanted to stay part of the TWL team since they are doing so well.
So Super Duper Admins, don't be so quick to tell yourself how right you are.
For the most part, people didn't go because of you.
People went regardless of you.

On the other side of that, there are the people who have been vocal in supporting the change.
That's fine, everybody is entitled to their opinion.
Even with most of them it's because they MISTAKENLY take what I say about the New-N-Improved MOB to personal.
For those people, I've already suggested it would be in their best interest if they would stick to the new "More Secure" site because they probably are not going to like what they read here.
It's not my fault if you mistakenly take what I saw about TheOtherMob as a personal attack on you.
While we're on that subject, I would like to point out what made (MOB) and Mobclan.com so special doesn't have jack to do with the name.
I actually get a laugh out of you guys not changing the name.
Since for the most part you've turned your back on what made MOB so successful over the years.
Here's a hint, it didn't have anything to do with who happen to be the admins at any given time. MOB was the success BECAUSE the admins were only people doing a job. Not this ruling class a small group has turned themsleves into. Decision use to be made as a group, not 3-4 people who hold themselves above everyone.
I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt an say you may have done everything with the best intentions.
You know the old saying, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Sure, maybe two of you did if with only good intentions but the other was strictly ego run rampant.
You guys can decide among yourself which one is which.

So you have MOB in you domain name and MOB as part of your server name.
Well hot damn... Goody for you....
That's about as meaningful as a kid painting "Porshe" or "BMW" on the back of his sub-compact and bragging about his new sports car.
Any special meaning there was to the MOB name has just been lost.
Congratulations.

For those who enjoyed my personal reflections on the change to the rules.
Be sure to stop back by as I post new personal reflections over such items as.....
* The humor behind the "New More Secure" site
* Sex, Lies & Videotape.... or in this case, Lies, Lies & Lies.
* My amazing physic powers of manipulation which have allowed me to force changes on TheOtherMob.com even though I don't have an account there.
* antiMOB or sometimes called MOB to BOM , tips for turning success into failure.

It you think it's funny, great.
I remember reading somewhere once that MOB was
FUN and FRIENDS are ALWAYS more important than winning!!
So whats wrong with a little funny observation between friends.

If you think it's sour grapes, well that's just to bad and it sucks to be you.
So either stick to your new "More Secure" site as I've already suggested on more than one occasion.
Or, sit down & shut up unless you are actually going to have the balls to say something more substantive than whining about how wrong I am.

MOB is more a Lamborghini than a Porsche.
