How about a "fun" objective based server? Options

I know this is a crazy idea...

but what about a non-TDM, non-HC server...

stay with me...

Something that wasn't absoluting punishing to newish players? You know, a non-HC server that people could come and play and have fun and not be totally raped by experts on TWL teams? That allowed us non-perfect reflex types to try playing on a MOB server with an objective based game that allows us to have fun, and not die 100 times before we hit the ground?

For example, the NFO headquarters server, allows people to play a team-based game yet it actually is "fun" by times, the maps aren't always dominated by HC super-killers.

I have to admit, COD4 seems like it is totally built for the best players to dominate, and the mid-range player might as well go f--k themselves. Arty drops and helicopters only available if you're great at kill streaks...it is like the game makers said "f--k n00bs! Experts must get all the kills!" Think about it. Capturing flags or headquarters gets you meaningless points, only the guys who rack up kills get the good stuff! HC servers just seem to add to this extreme imbalance. I'm trying my best to get into it, but if is damn tough, and HC servers aren't even worth a second of time to me. Being "3 and 27" isn't my idea of fun.

Funny I feel the same way in HC servers.... and I'm suppose to be one of those "experts"..... I'd def go for a non HC DOM or HQ server...
