I still stick my head in once a week or so. Although lately there's less and less reason to. Sort of like driving by the house you grew up in... do it once in a while for no particular reason.

Funny you would say that. A few weeks ago I paid the person who currently owns the house I live in $50 to let me get in the attic to see if a box I hid there as a child was still there. Almost cried when I opened up my time capsule from 35 years ago.

Been awhile but the Pain is still an active COD UO player along with COD WaW. In a new (well, about a year and a half old) clan started by myself and another BoS member. Devil's Rejects is the clan name. BoS decided to drop support for UO so that was it for me.
I miss MOB (most of you) quite a bit actually.
I do not miss the drama created by a couple of the admins. Hopefully that has been ironed out for those of you still in the clan.
I still drop in the Barb server whenever it runs on Fridays. Been awhile since it's been populated though. Was on Tuchola last night. GI.Joe was on along with a few others. Great fun but the Forest will never replace Barb, in my humble opinion.
Anybody feel the need to play some good old UO just drop by our server. I'm on nearly every day and would welcome the camaraderie of old. You will see me as =[DR]= Viper or Spud depending on my mood. Barb and Tuchola are in the rotation along with some stock maps and others. We do run the AWE mod so the gameplay is a bit different but I gotta tell ya I fall asleep trying to run in stock mode. You haven't played Barb until you've tried the AWE Barb.
Good to see the names here. Sad that some are not but that's life.

Any of you guys/gals ever play team fortress2. I've tried all the COD & MOH games since COD:UO and MOH:AA but never found anything I enjoyed to play as much as those to classics. I picked up a copy of Team Fortress2 a few weeks ago during a steam sale and have had a blast playing it. It's nothing like the attempt at realistic play in other modern shooters, in fact it's purposefully very cartoonish. So it may not be your liking, i think the closest comparison would be CS. My son has a lot of fun playing the game too. We've had such a good time, I'm considering looking for a kid friendly TF2 clan for us to get involved with.
If anyone has played it, I would curious to hear your opinion.

Tried it, didn't like it that much. It's very different from any other shooter I've played and seems a lot more based towards the very casual gamer. although if you just join a random team by yourself you're pretty much boned. I Know people that live that game, Just not my cup o tea

I swing by once in a while too... for some reason... i try to boot up UO and Barbarossa every once in a while but my lame ass computer has some sort of conflict with it...
The other Mob forum seems just as quiet as here? They all done over there now too...?

I doubt a WWII shooter will happen again anytime soon. To many people have beat it into the ground, and now everyone is so hooked on Spec Ops that "don't exist"

I am probably at the happiest point in my life. I feel like I am finally comfortable in my own skin. I dont feel the need to be an asshole anymore. My med intake is good. My alcohol intake is moderate and I feel like the grass is so green and the sky so blue.
Very happy Shred time.
Oh and i am still in love with my girlfriend of six years.

Everyone's not gone. Lots of ppl still lurking in the shadows. If you rattle the right bushes you'll find whoever you were looking for I imagine. Not a whole lot of gaming going on (everything that comes out sucks worse than the one before) but we have a few playing BF3 and MW3. Still a few hanging on to UO as always....
