i wanted the pitt steelers to win but 1 question: did the refs have money on the game?
did jeremy stevens drink prior too the game or accept a bribe? did the entire staff of seattle watch three stooges videos prior to and during the game? that was clearly a td from seattle in begining and ben was not over the plane of the goalline! and where the hell was alexander at? he got them there ,why didnt he play?everytime i saw him get the ball (very seldom) he went 5 to 10 yards! the whole first half they shoulda smashed it down there throats to tire the defense out, then throw the rest of the day! the biggest embaressment was when the qb takled the interceptor and therefs call chop blocking!what a joke! super bowl was lame! but watching the 80 year old musicians at half time was fun, lol! -------------------- ![]() |

i was a bit hammered by the end. drank one of the new 5 liter heineken keggers... mmm. The game almost seemed fixed. there is holding on every play, it is up the officials to call it, which coonicidentally was every time the hawks did anything. seattle outplayed the steelers in almost every category, except one. the important one. POINTS! short of a few awesome plays, they really were ineffective. I am happy for the steelers. that reverse hb/wr pass was genius and a dagger in the hearts of the entire northwest.

The Refs sucked and Stevens could of very well cost them the game.

I was very disappointed with the superbowl. It seemed as if the refs were wearing Pittsburg jerseys under their uniforms or something. Horrible calls.

i disagree, but maybe its cause i hate seattle and like pitt?
the endzone call, was the right one. but pitt's QB touchdown run was bullshit. i'll give seattle that. -------------------- ![]() |

If you're talking about that offensive PI call, it was bullshit. That was a love tap. The holding call on the right tackle was a bullshit call too. He never wrapped his arms around him or tried to grap his jersey as he was going down.

offensive PI could've gone either way. you aren't supposed to touch/push off. which he did, even if it was just slightly.

Hey Lip,
that call you mentioned could go either way. I was talking about the other one where there was a holding call. Total Bullshit. Overall, with all the bad calls I seen, there was at least a 14-21 point turnaround because of poor calls. Who knows how the game would have ended up if they were called correctly. Pitt may still have won, but the calls were just bad. -------------------- ![]() |
