I have come to the realism that I would be alot better if I did not suck so much. Maybe do what I did mr.Dienamic! I was so horrid in MP when I first got CoD I almost threw it out after a coupla weeks... so upon realising 'the mountain wouldn't come to me' I took a new approach. I started not caring about getting killed and went out seeking my murderers. When you die alot you start to learn why you're dying. In so doing you learn a few methods of avoiding death along the way.I still die alot but I also find ways to get my killers before the get me many times and thus get to the team objectives. ps.Hint->Playing in S+D and tdm missions help significantly too I find.... It was a joke lol......I rock at BA , but I am also ok at TDM and DM. It really depends on how much effort I put into it. While playing tdm I like to goof off alot. If I am being serious, I can be good at it. I guess that is almost anything I do lol......

ummmm, it sounds like you have a bad stick of ram. The fact that yours and his are different should tell you something. You will never get the true 512 ram, but I think the numbers should at least match.
I run a gig of corsair duel channel factory sinked ram, but it does not show the complete potential. Hope that helps. |

what the hell is RAM anyway? and why do you need more of it? god, haha. i know NOTHING about computers. Fearing you'll say you're joking and I get egg on my face once more... RAM is random access memory... You have several levels of memory the computer uses to make things tick... each one better than the other.... The more RAM you have, the less likely the computer resorts to using the slower hard drive 'page file' memory which is busy using resources for other computer functions[ but the motherboard should be modern enough to support very high amounts of installed ram]. The graphics card[and its personal memory] is either above or below the ram memory in importance depending upon how powerful either type is. Here's geeky thread link on types/amount of ram to use> good chuckles at the end. http://hardware.gotfrag.com/portal/forums/thread/200465/ This post has been edited by Hellfighter: 05/10/06 12:38pm -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

You will never get the true 512 ram, but I think the numbers should at least match. I run a gig of corsair duel channel factory sinked ram, but it does not show the complete potential. Hope that helps. It could be using part of RAM as video RAM (shared video memory). Common on the cheaper motherboards with integrated video. When RAM fails, it generally fails the entire stick (so you go from 512 to 256, etc.). -------------------- |
