I hear all this I have this Virus protection and the Virus protection. I'm on a Mac and frankly I have no virus protection, don't need it. The virus that came out for mac wasn't even a threat only like 5 people got infected and it could only pass through instant messaging. Plus, Apple isn't putting their products out on the market saying they are the best gaming machines ever, they really aren't meant for gaming. They are more of a developing/production computer. Ask a movie maker which he'd prefer, he'd most likely go with Mac. Ask a 13 year old kid, he'd prefer a PC cause it has 3D pinball on it. The movie guy has money, 13 year old has maybe a few bucks so he'd prefer the $200 cheap computer. All PC's had over Macs was more software. With Intel chips and everyone creating their apps in universal binary PC's can't say that anymore. So now what do PC's have over Mac?
I'm on a Mac. 256 RAM. Horrible Graphics card. Still own your ass. --------------------   |

I heard that the new mac system may be using like the pc basis or something, opening it up to viruses. Its just what i heard and i may have changed it since it was a while ago, who knows.

Yes because it can run PC that means it will be open to viruses. However, Apple is fast at releasing Security Updates and they fix everything. The old Mac virus had a Security Update for it less than a week to squash it. Apple makes the best Security for computers.

Viruses,Etc Etc IT all comes down to one thing. Programs ... PC has 20 to 2 mac, Applications I use PC for games if mac had games id buy one. better yet build one
