Despite all of this, I still will throw in my vote to unban him. I think certain things were misinterpreted. Like looking "ass" up in the dictionary. I can see how he was trying to imply that he didnt believe it was curse word.

On the contrary, I have not had the type of bad experiences you two have had with him.

I believe if someone requests to come back with such sincerity and obvious maturation (I am 75% sure that's a real word), I believe the whole point of the ban has been served.

However, like sabot said, I trust Silver and DG's judgement as players and as people, and if they don't take this advice I will disagree, but stick by their decision.

I don't think people serve bans, they get bans. But I still say unBan him cause maybe when he was being kicked constantly he was a immature punk kid with a mindset that he has big cajonness. But now he's re-thinked his way and has matured. most people would either go out in a cuss storm, some would beg on their hands and knees, he's come in person to person and has established a good conversatio. This is a unique case that seems to have alot of {MOB} talking about it. I say we settle it with a poll.

Just food for thought. Past performance is often referred to as an indicator for future expectations. I do not know the history or details of this specific matter of discussion. If documented and this person was warned about their actions/behavouirs and kicked due to repeated occurences of the same, and consequently banned, then the questions become what is fair to MOB, fair to this person and consistent with past disciplinary actions for other persons that have conducted themselves in a similar manner? Further what expectations would be placed on this individual? Is a probationary period an option to consider? It is a difficult choice and one that I do not have enough information about to make an informed decision.

It's a tough one.... I don't know what overcame him to be a big idiot to get 50 warnings and numerous kicks AND then he wonders why he can't get unbanned. An admin taking timeout of playing to kick someone 10 times is not a happy camper -> and in all seriousness the culprit guilty of such an annoyance deserves whatever they get --- 50[?] warnings is very lenient, geezus Polska- take a timeout after 2 warnings if you're having a tantrum while playing. In this case I'm inclined to go along with the final say of whoever bans in such a case... but it maybe interesting to see if the ban has taught him wise up and respect others now that he apparently realises his spurt of stupidity cost him the joy of playing with some of his longtime online friends.

My two cents...

I missed all the bad stuff Polska did. I remember him as a good player whose worst offence was whining about his computer. So I admit, I'm not as emotionally involved as some of the people in this threads. But here it goes.

While those who run MOB are right that a ban is a ban, I can't help but think that Polska's apology was sincere, and if Polska lived up to it, wheres the harm in letting him back in? Trust me, your average idiot/tool won't come back begging for fogiveness.

I think you should let him in with a zero tolerence rule based on his promises. Never swear, stay on-topic, minimal whining, no name calling, or "hack" accusations. He clearly violates the rule just once, he's done, and you get to tell the members here "I told you so". But if he behaves, what more could you want but a player who was punished, made a sincere apology, changed his behavior, and played by the rules you laid down?

Anyway, just adding my perspective. You know, that famous saying, "to err is human, to forgive, divine"? Yeah, sure, he probably burned up all the chances he deserved already, but since he actually repented and practically begged to be let back in, why not put him to the test? Or if one more test is needed first, ask he post a simple but sincere apology to Silver and DG for giving them so much grief personally, with the understanding that, if it's sincere, he'll get unbanned under the "zero tolerence" guidelines?

I will admit this though. I'm always more willing to forgive the verbal idiots. If someone is saying dumb things, I just stop reading them. The team-killers...yeah, I personally have no time to be "divine" with them!!

I liked playing COD with Polska, but I stand behind Silver and DG in their decision.

I went back and read the whole thing. I remember seeing Polska warned about language on Barb. But, I also remember something about him saying that it was his brother who did it. Now, that excuse has fallen by the wayside. Lying is something that bothers me alot, it makes me question the sincerity of the post that began this thread.

Here goes... All the people I ever caused to take time away from the game to warn me or kick.... perhaps you been typing stop Polska and get killed. Sorry Silver, Shadow, and DG espessialy, because I know that you are the one that enforces all the rules, and you been keeping me in check... and I know that being an A-hole that I used to be must have been quite annoying... and I apologize for that...

When I was acting up, I didin't mean any harm, but now I understand how annoying it is to have to stop form the game to tell someone to stop doing whatever they are doing... especialy if you know that they(me) know aready that whay I did was not tolerated...

I dunno if you believe me if I say that I have aready stopped on all servers with all the garbage I say... but hope you will consider it...

I apologize to all whoever I have caused to loose time, and maybe score because they told me to stop...

I told him your servers r cool like a month ago and he told me he likes Barbarossa, I prefer Tuhola... he plays as Flying Panda... he hates me for my bad language... which I think many others do too...

My last vote is to unban him.

My case for this is.

When someone is guilty/evil (Jeep Tk, Tk, Language cheats etc.) When they get banned, they don't come into forums and ask for forgiveness. They knew what they were doing while doing it, and that it was wrong.

Real world senario,

I'm driving to work, and I'm listening to the radio. I'm speeding and don't realize it. I get pulled over. I get a warning. A week later, same thing. I get a warning. Etc. Then I get a ticket (kick). I pay up and learn my lesson. Which I think he might have.

Second, I'm drunk. I'm driving, I'm going a buck-thirty down the freeway hitting cars left and right. I get caught and jailed (ban). I'm not gonna plead my case to the judge.

Might sound dumb, but I think you can apply what I have said and get the picture.

If unbanned I expect you will not do it again, or I'll ban you myself.

I must have to say that you did cut me a lot of slack... and I appreceate it... and have to say it was stupid of me not to say to myslef: they want me to keep playing at their servers... and give me a lot of slack.., maybe I should reward them by following the rules... but I have no strenght to type because I will now be crying for a week because we lost against germans in the soccer championships... in the 90th minute... Jesus... I can't believe it...

Final thought. I think Polska needs a quick lesson on what consitiutes a swear word. I think he doesn't quite ge that.

Polska, Jesus (the way u used it), d*mmit, b*tch, and B*st*rd and @$$ are all swear words of one degree or other. Yes, I've used a few in game, a lot of people have, but not incessantly as you must have. So they will be off-limits to you if you are unbanned. You might want to start by not using them in your apologies! Get it? Got it? Good! I hope they let you in, and I hope if they do, you don't embarrass your supporters.

It appears as though he is sincere, and judgeing by his apolagy it wont happen again.

Worst case scenario, he does it again and you ban him and throw the key away! Then all of us who supported him will start a new thread apolagising for our naiveness!
