MOB has three match games (2 UO and 1 COD2) scheduled for Sunday evening. In order to accomodate the matches and insure good performance during the match play, the following actions are planned for Sunday:

1) Around 7:30 pm EST, the public COD UO Base Assault server (8.9.4.79) will be shutdown and converted to a second UO match server. This server will have the same RCON password and Entry password as the other UO match server (8.9.4.77).

2) Around the same time, the UO Cassino (8.9.4.78) and the COD2 TDM & SD (8.9.4.75) server will be shutdown to improve the performance of the servers during the matches.

3) The servers will be returned to normal operation around 11pm Sunday night.

There may be brief periods of server interruptions during early morning hours Sunday to test the setup. I will try to do that when no one is on the servers.

Let's make it a MOB win for all 3 !!

Thanks Mike! I do have to say that we could probably move our UO BA match to their server with no conflict since they use the same server company if we need do. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, and if our guys don't mind we could easily play on CSA's server. Everyone's ping should be the same on their server as ours being the same host. Let me know guys. I'd hate to disrupt our servers so much. It's nice having "home field advantage", but it the same server host so does it matter?

Thanks for the feedback. The work has been done and it is now easy to switch the BA public server between match and normal mode. I'll switch it around 7:30 pm this evening and you can test to see that everything is running as expected. Even if you choose not to use it, it is probably good that we now have the option in case it comes up again.
