Battle for Europe: Call of Duty is seeking soldiers to fight on its United Offensive front!
Want to play United Offensive on full servers with cooperation and teamwork? Would you like to play on large custom maps with tactical coordination? Want to see tanks and vehicles used to complete objectives and support teammates rather than to pad someone's frag count? Tired of jerks and hackers ruining your online gaming experience? Well, come play COD:UO as it was meant to be played - join the Battle For Europe: Call of Duty tournament! BFE has a rather innovative tournament concept, in which individual players sign up and are assigned to various armies, regiments, and companies. Over an 8-week campaign, the armies fight on virtual battlefields in Call of Duty 2 and United Offensive in epic 12-hour battles for control of cities. At the end of the campaign, the army holding the most territory wins, and a new campaign begins. Our day-long COD:UO battles are fought on Sundays from 11 am EST (4 pm GMT) until midnight EST (5 am GMT), with players rotating in and out of the battle all day. COD2 is also played on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but COD2 is not required for participation in the tournament. Officers on both Axis and Allies organize battle strategies and coordinate teamwork to achieve their goals. At the end of the day, medals and promotions in rank are awarded to those soldiers who stand out during the battle. Historically-based medals are awarded through the forum system and show up in a member's profile throughout a campaign. A player begins the tournament as a Private or Grenadier, and can advance through the ranks up to General or Commander-in-Chief over several campaigns. Participants can also earn special patches and service awards by participating in various developmental teams within the tournament. To further enhance the role-playing aspects of the BFE tournament style, custom mods, maps and skins designed specifically for the tournament are used. Battle servers are located in both the United States and the United Kingdom, and TeamSpeak is used for voice-communication between the players. Be a part of something bigger than a single soldier's struggle against his enemy on a public server where everyone's out for themselves! Fight the good fight! Join Battle for Europe! www.bfecod.com PS. I'm not sure if advertising other organisations/communities are allowed on the =LMAO= forum, if it isn't i have no problem in this being deleted. |
