Missing files, Invalid pk files Options

Hey folks,Im starting to have real problems getting into games.

It seems to have started on other servers and now its happening on my beloved MOB stock maps.Im bumming out.I played in ponyri then when it started in rhinevalley i got this error mentioned below.I have really two types of pk3 files errors,lets start with this one first.

The error reads missing files = w_ZoXo_vX_ client pk3.

Any help would be greatly appr.

The ZoXo client is a modern weapons mod. That looks like the stock version. By default, you would not have it, you would need to download it. Unless someone has modified the stocks server for modern weapons, you should not need it,

My advice is to got to My COmputer; Program Files; COD; uo and look for that file. If it is there it may be corrupted. Delete the file if it is there. While your there, look for a file with a similar name and the suffix TMP this is a file that has started downloading and not finished for some reason. IF you find a ZoXo file like that, delete it as well.

The ZoXo mod is fun. Personally I created a folder in my main UO folder called ZoXo. I put the mod there. Whe I want to play the game, I move them to my main UO folder and restart COD, It sounds like a pain, but it keeps issues like the one you're having from happening most of the time.

Thanks so much for the come back.You say its a modern weapons mod .I have visited a stock maps site with modern weapons a couple of weeks ago.That must be the answer.I will do just as you say.And hope for the best.

I found a utility on the Call of Duty files download site.It toggles some type of file that allows you thru "UO "directory to turn on and turn off pure and unpure client pk3 files.It says you put it on your desktop and turn it on or off before you start the game.Ill see if I can get the web add,and post it if others may need it.I was going to do that but Ill try your fix First.

Steel, Thanks for the info.It looks similar to the file i was talking about,but yours seems to be more up to date.I will down load both and see what happens.
