A Happy Thanksgiving to you all! For Canadians, some of us also enjoy a bit of down time around American Thanksgiving!
My work was typically with american companies which always ment down time for me and the 2 hour trip to see my folks during American Thanksgiving. At my parents house, it was always a bit of a celebration, even though we are Canadian, just because of my opportunity to get away from Toronto. Somehow we coined it "Festivus" and the subsequent jokes about Festivus and the "feats of strength" inevitably ensued... My dad was a big Seinfeld fan... LOL was lots of fun! Oh well! So for me American Thanksgiving = Festivus! Any excuse for a celebration! To my American friends, enjoy the holidays! Cheers SH |

Yes, of course. How thoughtless of us. Considering that many MOB's are Canadian, I hereby decree to extend Thanksgiving and all it's festivities to our northern brethren. Should any of you have a problem getting the day off, tell your management teams Pain will not be happy with their decisions and it's in their best interest to reconsider.
