This one did not go well for MOB:

We got off to a bad start in the first quarter. Neither Bullet or I expected to play but we came in as subs to prevent a forfeit. Things improved in the second quarter after Blk96 and Krazed were able to join the match. Still, we just could not get traction aginst this team. Dirty Harry and Genocide Junkie were the only MOB guys to make it into positive scores. Although this was a very good team, I think we could have done much better. It just did not feel like we were in the right frame of mind for this match. Maybe it was just the after holiday blues.

This match had a strange feel to it the whole time. It started out with us having a camp out to start with both sides taunting each other on Burgandy to try and get the other team to attack. They also made good use of smoke to lessen our effectiveness with snipers (which I think is one of our strengths). It did get better when blk and Krazed joined in but things were still difficult. Once Carentan started we were very far behind and hbz was content to take one or more houses to make us attack them. We actually did ok when we were able to be cautious but because of the point differential this just was not going to net us the win. They just plain beat us and made us stay out of our comfort zone. Another match another lesson. We'll keep improving and keep going at them.

Tough break guys! I've played in those matches when it seems you just cannot get an effective offensive going and they counter your every move - frustrating to say the least! As mentioned, each match is a learning experience and it will benefit the team in the long run.
