Well, you know that we are not playing our best when Old Man Mike is the only MOB member to have a positive score during the entire match:
 We were actually in danger of a forfeit at the start of the game. Luckly Cero and Big P came in and backed us up until the primary COD2 players finally made it. Actually we did fairly well in that first quarter. With 5 mins remaining, we had an even score. Toast than got a quick killing spree and jumped up 10 points in just 1 min. It was all down hill from there. During Matmata they caught us in the spawn kills several times and really racked up the points. It is unfortunate that we have such a hard time getting a time that's good for most of our best players. I think that we could have done much better with the right team. Still, it was a learning experience and I have little doubt that we will have another shot to show them that MOB can be a worthy opponent. Old Man Mike |

As they say, "timing is everything"! So true!
It really is very difficult finding a suitable time to hold matches so that everyone can be available. Honestly, I am amazed these matches can be held at all, given we are dealing with global communications, different time zones, individuals with daily responsibilities and God only knows what else! LOL! Anyway, good job guys. It's just another learning experience and another notch on your way to the top! |

Between people not being able to make times and a few players who get horrible pings when they can play it makes it difficult to compete with the top 3-4 teams. I have no doubt that with our best team and equal pings we'd give them all they could handle. We proved lastnight that we are capable of playing with this team by staying even with them for 15 mins. I think we really suprised them. Thanks to Cero and Big P for helping out lastnight so that we did not forfeit. Mike forgot to mention we played a man down for a couple mins of two of those rounds as Cero and P both got dropped by Punkbuster to download updates. Just was not our night but I think we learned that we have players that can compete with Toast. We just need things to line up right for us to have another shot.
