PB_Init failure, Pain in the @$$ Options

So I updated to 1.3 like a good boy, then keep getting kicked from any server for PB_Init failiure!!!

So I run my PB update program which updates me to V2.029 /A1394, Run the update again and says I am running the latest, so o.k I sould be good right nnooooo

Even connected to Goodfellas, and booted. I posted to PB but in the meantime anyone else run into this and have a fix???

This is what I found through google:

We are aware of a number of players getting kicked for "PB INIT FAILURE" after tonight's update. In our testing with these players, we're finding that many have security software or a firewall blocking traffic on UDP port 28962 which must be open to communicate with our COD4 update masters. If you are getting kicked after tonight's update, please either temporarily disable your firewall/security software or configure it to allow open traffic on UDP port 28962. This will allow your PunkBuster to update to future versions. Alternatively, you may manually update by using PBSETUP.

Thanks T/A I will try disabling the FW but I did do the PBsetup so I do have the latest. Will let you know.

Open your COD4 multiplayer and look in the bottem right corner and see which version of the game you are running.

Hi Six, I am running the latest, Is working fine now, I put a ticket in with PB and they resolved the issue and updated all servers so I am not getting booted now.
