I know it was a crazy objective but I just had to build a copter that could lift and fly a building brick. Here is a video of my latest design with 8 motors flying that brick:

Flying Brick

Just a few more modifications and I should also be able to fly a 6 pack of 16 ounce beers.

Wow! That is impressive!!

Can you tell us about your rig? For years I've been wanting to get a RC heli I could fly one of my cameras for low-cost aerial work. I'm eager to learn more. I still remember your video from a couple of years ago when you lost power in one of your engines, but I believe that unit only had four sets of blades.

We are facing a major crisis in our country. Does anyone care about all the little single blade helicopters that have been left behind? Is it all about the number of motors and how much you can lift? I'm tired of no one speaking up for the little guys.

We need new leadership - some one that will recognize the cyclic nature of this problem and not just offer up a quick fix solution. Putting up a net to catch the single bladers is not the answer. Doesn't America have enough open sky for everyone to fly?

Vote for the candidate of change and together we will march forward into a new world where we can all soar like eagles!

With a tear in his eye,
Old Man Candidate Mike

Now Mike, if you can just give that oratory with a little bit of southern baptist accent, and maybe some sweeping hand gestures, you just might be the next prez!!

LOL!!

BTW, great work on the copter!!!!!!!! Hey, if you could lift the brick in a wet diaper, they might wanna use it on a TV commercial. LOLOL!!

Why I voted Mike for president:

He just cleared up the whole border issue dealing with illegal immigrants sneaking into the US. You don't need a wall/fence built, nor an army to patrol it. Just one person sitting in a booth and using Mike's copter to drop bricks on them as they try to sneak in....teeheehee.

Way to go Mike!!

OMM, that is so coool.

Your last copter reach an altitude of about 350' or so right.

If and when you master the ability to lift a building brick. I'd like to hire your services to fly over my "Annuity BROKERS" Mercedes and drop a brick through his windshield...I'll pay all expenses and if you'd like I''ll even set you up with a real pretty escort to show you around the Big Apple...And as Ralph Kramdan said and away we go..lol

O yea wait till our one and only Flatliner here's about your ability to lift beer balls...I'm sure he'll put you to work as well...Aint that right Flat..lol

Very cool copter indeed.
