You bunch of whiners In Vietnam all we had was an out house if you were lucky or a bush if you found one and hoped you didn't get your derear shot off. This kind of thing is nauseating.
A few people think I come into forums with an anti-Bush agenda; some know where I'm coming from...
What makes me puke are war-mongeroring 'citizens' and politicians of any party who get on a soapbox and beat the drums for war and declare how they worship and honour their troops - most of the loudest blowhards amongst them have no inclination to see that these 'very best' get the 'very best' in return for their commitment.
Do you hear them [neocons and warhawks] go after Bush to start repairing these morale grating issues for service people. Do we hear/see McCain walking through military facilities, hospitals and bases in front of the media to make sure everything is in order?! They simply don't care.....
When I rant on about the awful blunder Iraq was I'm not talking strategy, but about soldiers lives being wasted, not just in death, but in coming home with both physical and mental wounds.... and then doing 4 tours of 15+ months !
- $2 billion in the Iraq budget goes towards training the Iraqi security forces of 400,000 - these forces were supposed to be nearing post-training readiness at least 3 years ago -Bush admin assured us!!!
This farce needs to end.... the time is now to recuperate and resurge on home ground before the whole thing cracks.
