I wanted to start this because I know when I first started I had to learn all the good spots, the things I was doing correctly, and incorrectly mostly on my own. I know most of the regulars and that all of you want to be the elite players out there. So here's what I propose, I am sure this will get flamed, but, oh well!

What I am talking about specifically is if you see someone get blasted several time you come on here and tell them why. If they are not on TS!

A couple of instances in my mind are in reference to 0Ccisor and cypher on Southern France 0Ccisor there was a time when he kept coming up the same stairwell going to the same spot for spawn kills, the route was predictiable so I knew evrytime to watch out for him along the path.
Same for Cypher I know which route he takes where he throws a nade @ where he does not, which beam he always walk across to jump onto the stairwell.

Maybe this is a good idea...maybe it isn't! But @ least theres a way we can help each other.

I am not the best player out there, but what I try to do is as Panzer alluded to be unpredictable.
On some maps you will find the same players in the same spots time and time again, I find the best way to kill and avoid being killed is to be everywhere, and nowhere at the same time....if that makes any sense.

I think there's a strategies forum available to MOB members only.

How about it MOB ? Would you care to share those tips with some of your regular players. Wouldn't this make our games more challenging and fun for everyone ?

We have certain strategies that are MOB only. However, we would be willing to give some tips on ts sometime.

That wasn't really my intention Wassy, as far as I am concerned thats priveleged to MOB members and is for preparing for matches. What does every1 else think about my earlier post?

Should we give away all our secrets? Who has seen Casino, the movie? Remember how DeNiro knew all the intangible secrets about the various sporting events? That is what helped him succeed. It is not only knowledge but how one plays. Some people will never achieve the level of play that others do. It is all in how we are programmed. Nonetheless, be random and smart. That is the best advice you will ever get.

It's not about giving away secrets - it's about having more enjoyable games.

When we played tonight, in the last few maps the Allies (with MOB members Epacy, Nixon, & Dick) slaughtered the Axis (myself included). In earlier maps, the games were much closer. Would sharing some tips will make the games more even?
Do you have more fun playing an evenly matched game or trouncing someone ?

Maybe it's just that Canadian sense of fair play ..... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Personally..I enjoy trouncing ppl, here's why: it's either u kick their ass or they r going to kick your ass. Besides whats more fun then trying to work out of your spawn area when the opposing team has it completely covered. What's also fun is then returning the favor & not allowing them to even spawn!!!

Agreed. Everyone knows I love spawn killing but I probably love it more getting out of it. It is such a challenege to try to get out of being spawn killing cause everyone knows where you are. That is a sign of a quality player, one that gets out of being spawn killed instead of bitching about it.
Evenly matched games are fun. I like winning as a team. But nothing good ever came from being given something you must earn it your own way.

What can I say, that about somes up the whole game, lol. However, I have noticed that some ppl lack in the common sense department; so, what is common sense to some, may not be to others.

That is what makes some of us succeed and some perish. Life lesson.

I agree with the idea of learning on your own.
The more you play, the more you pick up from other players.
Every player has strenghts and weaknesses. Mine is I like
to bash too much, and it reflects in my score, b/c usually the
victim becomes the aggressor and saws my ass in half with
whatever piece of high-powered weaponary they are armed with.
But GD, bashing is so much fun, I can't help myself.
