How to get effective help with Missionary problems, Please read before posting!!!! Options

We want to help everyone get Missionary up and running. For us to offer effective help to anyone having problems, please follow these tips.

1) Start a new topic for a new problem.
Please do not reply to a thread with your problem if the thread is about an different issue. It will be much easier to deal with different problems separately.

2) Describe the problem in the topic title
This will make it easier for others to find the answer to their problem.

3) Please supply as much information as possible.
We can't help you if all you say is "It didn't work"
Missionary comes with a few tools which will help to point out the problem.
Start Missionary, then go to Tools/Help>View Missionary Log.
Please copy the log into your post.

Or if the log is very long, you can go to Tools/Help>Clear Missionary Log.
Then try to connect to our server. Now if you still have problems, go to
Tools/Help>View Missionary Log and it will only have information about your last failed attempt to connect. Then copy the new log to your post.

Another option is to run the diagnostic located at
Tools/Help> Run Test / Diagnostic Report
This will save a detail report to C:\missionary\tlog.txt
Be prepared to email this in if requested.
