It seems the server often reboots towards the late part of the night, and I was on till 11:00 p.m, and the stats from the day are lost. Is it known why the server fails/reboots so often? Adddtionaly, I know several of us have been talking about if there is a way to manually update the stats from before the server rebooted. If I rememebr correctly there is. Would it be possible to do this?

Druid would be able to answer better but....

The server crashed 2 times yestereday that I know of. Once in the afternoon and once later at night. Both times when I re-booted it the same way I always do, I think druid has a built in batch program that copies the log files so they are not lost.

Druid?

The log files are not lost but there is no good way to automatically run the pre-cash log files via a script.
The 3 big problems are
The backup log files are saved using the same name format as the normal saved backup copies from when the server reboots everyday at 6am
The stats program needs to be ran when no one is on the servers, the stats program uses a .php file thats takes up lot of CPU time while it parses the log and cache file from the previous days stats.
It takes about 15 minutes for the stats program to run. If someone ran stats right after the server crashed. It would be 15 minutes before the server was back up and ready to play. This would greatly reduce the number of people coming back to play on our server after a crash.

Whenever I get the chance I manually run stats on the backup logs if I'm around and no one is on the server.
