MOB - Monkey see monkey do ?, Whats your excuse ? Options

I and a few other regulars are curious as to the lack of support by MOB's own members in the new MOB server. So far Deuce, Lt.Stone, LOM, and Druid have been supporting it, and yet most other regular MOB players are not dropping in at all.

Since it's your server, should you not be in there supporting it?

Is it a monkey see monkey do attitude to follow other players into the main server, where there are more inexperienced players easier to kill? Can it be MOB regulars are actually afraid to try something new, that may inflict a much lower score than what they are use to in the regular Goodfellas server because they are unfamiliar with the new maps, and don't know the spawn areas? Do I smell Tuna?... Anyone can play the same map for 2 years and get high scores.

Even if its for a hour, or for a show up time to time, it makes a difference supporting "your own server". If other regulars see more MOB members coming in, it would give them more inspiration to show up to see what they are really made of.

I've seen some high scores by regulars in Wiseguys that can kick MOB ass pretty good. It seems to be a whole different ball game when your in unknown territory. Scary ay? Anyway, this thread is not to draw out arguments or boring quotes picking this posted thread, its to find out what....

wow i would love to play new maps. I am a retard but whats the ip for that server? Do i need to download new maps? Anyone know if they will work on a mac + do i put them in the maps folder? wish i could afford a pc but i killed the last one i had, im having trouble killing the mac!

P.S. anyone know anything about macs? I have some questions!

Kirby - Some of MOB likes custom maps and some don't. That's pretty much what is comes down to. I personally, hate custom maps and you will rarely see me in that server, just as I rarely played on the COD server when we had it running.

That's about sums it up.

Is this the new server with all the custom maps you had to download?? I have been in there several times and not once has anyone been in there. Let me know what times you play..Maybe we can designate a time when we can all show up and play a while. Let me know

Well some of these custom maps are just as good as originals if not better. So I don't understand why there hated (pretty extreme word). Epacy I guess I would have to be removed from a clan to know what detest means. Anyway the post concerns reasons why some MOB have no interest in there own custom server.

Hello Independent, usually I find 8pm up people drop in. If you do and no ones there wait about 5 mins. Usually others drop in to see if anyones there. It only takes one to get things going.

Post has nothing to do with you Epacy, and I went beyond highschool (which your still attending). Buy the way it appears you can't read very well. Look at the original post and the last comment about boring stupid quotes (bottom). Any dummy can quote and make fun of any post. You proved it again and again. By the way my trade has always been a licensed Customs Commodity Specialist for the HS System. You will have to look on the net to figure that out. It will keep you busy and out of trouble for a few minutes while I get some answers here.

And thus another thread quickly degrades to insults and pointless babble. I, like others, have shown up on the new maps, but usually (even after waiting 15 to 20 minutes) almost never see anyone else. The server seems to be down fairly regularly as well. However, I would love to play some MOBsters in there. Maybe it would level the playing field a little. I doubt it, but I wouldn't mind finding out.
