if anyone runs aim.. i hope you can help me out .. whenever i go to sign on. it says aim service cant be reached...WTF IS THAT... it only works when i restart my computer... any suggestions? anyone?

Check firewall settings, make sure the port isn't blocked. Also, if you installed the SP2 beta for WinXP you will need to change the firewall settings there.
If you are using a hardware router (ie Linksys/D-Link), make sure the ports aren't blocked there. HTH. Cypher |

A lot of times it means either your internet is down, a router to the aol server is down or the aol server itself is down. IT should work within an hour. Try just restartingyour aim.
