As some of you know i write poetry. Well this one is a poem i wrote for jessica.
Siting hear waiting for the phone to ring waiting for the sweet words you bring Just to hear your voice brightens my day nothing else matters and all problems go away the world is timeless when your not around everything is dead to me not a single sound suddenly i open the door and there you are looking deep in your eyes sparkels of the stars I grab you towards me holding you tight never letting you out of my sight Ill keep you safe and warm when things get bad ill keep you out of the storm this passion will never fade the love i have will last every day to the ground on one knee looking in your eyes i ask will you marry me this is a poem i wrote for her but i have not yet showed her it, i will be poping the question real soon, before i go to basic. Congrats Soup and I wish you the best of luck. My only advice to you is that you should make it sweet and to the point. Not that I'm saying don't use your poetry. I personally believe that you should make it "look" more "spontaneous". Shit, what the hell do I know, I asked my wife to marry me in the bar we always hung out at with all our friends around in the booth we always sat in. It was a no brainer. People have always said how "cool" it was or how "appropriate" it was, but quite frankly I didn't know how or when to do it so I saw an opening and I took it. Good Luck, Soup! My best to you and your soon to be fiance!
