I'm just saying if they were going to keep government officials from flying because of knowledge of a 9/11 size terrorist act they would have stopped all government officials from flying commercially. It doesn't make any sense for them to only protect 1 person.

Sigh... there had been rumors for years about planes being hijacked by terrorists. Perhaps one of the latest threats he heard particularly bothered him and so he stopped flying. It doesn't mean that they knew planes were going to be hijacked and flown into the WTC. In fact, you would only even think of that if you're looking for an excuse to blame the gov't for 9/11.

My grandmother stopped flying commercially in the 1970s. Does that mean she knew that planes would be flown into the WTC on 9/11/01? That's the same type of logic you're using.

John Ashcroft is a paranoid freak---so any actions-however questionable--- don't surprise me. He's a lot like J.Edgar Hoover without the wardrobe. Keep searching for something that isnt there and you'll wind up blind. Stop wasting your time and focus on the real problems like Bush's fiscal policy for starters.

that's the same way i feel about u. we got warnings of the attacks from something like 50 different government agencies... NORAD was running drills weeks prior to 9/11 simulating hijacked aircraft being flown into the pentagon and the WTC. if ur still scared of the truth when it looks u straight in the face and you're too stuck in ur bush-worshipping red life-style... that ain't my problem. and none of u still have answered my question about black helicopters.
