Hello everyone. My name is Joe, but some of you may know me as TAW_Xotic. I know SlimShady knows me because he is the one who mentioned that I should post on this forum. I, with the help of a friend am starting a new only business at www.GamerZpot.com. We are going to be a social gaming network where members can set up profiles and communicate/share themselves with one another. There will be a lot of other things you can do within the site, so don't worry, its not just a profile. We have our splash page up now. I would ask that you all go to our site and sign up in the email box. Once our site is launched, I will send out a mass email letting everyone know that it is up and running. I don't know for sure, but it sounds allot like the "Clan" or forums we have here. You are advertising for a new clan on our forums? I am asking to understand what you are advertising. Or is it a new "Invision board" product? The intro looks like you did some work... good luck to you.

Thank you for your post. No, this isn't a forum or new clan. It is in the process of being made right now. It will be a place to basically create your own personal page with info about yourself/games you play/videos/screenshots. You will also be able to leave messages, chat, instant message, etc. It will be a great place for people to keep in touch with other gamers they meet and be personallized the way you want it. I hope you all come check it out. And thank you for the compliment on the intro. It did take some time, and thanks for the vote of luck.

You can look at it that way if you like. We will be programming our own platform to fit just how we want it, so it won't be just like myspace or facebook. There will be other features on the site that i think a lot of gamers would appreciate. Also, yes, it is the Video Game niche, instead of being as spread out as those sites. We will be focusing on PC, Console, and Handheld gamers. Check it out and sign up for the launch info. Thanks for your post.

I wasn't bashing your idea. I think once you get it going and advertisement sees how valuable it is, you will be rich. I wish I would have thought of it. Wish you the best of luck.

Oh, I wasn't saying that you were bashing it, no offense taken I truly appreciate your post and comments. Although it would be nice if we get big as you say, but that isn't the entire point of this. We are hoping to be a platform/place for gamers from all over the world to meet and interact to get to know each other and know what everyone is about. I really hope people enjoy what we are putting out there (once it is actually up, of course )

You probably know it really is a transient community... MANY people move from clan to clan and game to game... like herding cats really. I think this maybe a good idea... problem is differentiatiating from the existing tools and sites.

All MOB should have free access, no?

Wow, thank you for the positive feedback. We will be working to differentiate ourselves and make our tools as useful as possible. Our site will not be a charge to join. There will be no cost to making a profile or...anything really. So, yes...MOB has free access. We just need people to sign up so we can let them know when we are launching. Thanks again!

I realise that some people are hesitant to sign up for a site that they don't know anything about. Some are worried about spam or whatnot. Just know that even though we don't have a Privacy Policy up yet, the only reason we are asking for an email is to be sure we have a way of contacting everyone interested once we launch. Your email won't be sold, given or taken by anyone. It also helps us see how many people are interested right off the bat so that we can accommodate for them all. Again, thanks for all the support.
